  1. Changing my dizzy tonight to try and cure my missfire problem. Does anyone know if you need to unplug or block anything when setting the timing using a stobe gun? Nick
  2. Well it started making a grinding noise on braking the other day so had a look and oh dear. No pad left! Stopped using the car and then today whipped em off. A little worn then! Boshed on some greentuff's and some brembo grooved discs. Done the first 50 miles of bedding in already and so far so good. Nick

  11. Ha ha yeah that was funny. Managed to find a thread on here about brakes by searching on google strangley. Anyway ordered some Brembo grooved discs and some Green Stuff pads which I'm picking up tomorrow. Need to then get over to oxford and fit them on the car! nick
  12. nice one, I had a search on here but all it brought up where conversion etc which I wasn't after. I used to run drilled discs on my minis and they used to warp all the time as I'm pretty hard on the brakes so I give them a wide birth these days. I like grooved ones though 8) Was good to meet you too bud, your car is :notworthy: nick
  13. What to get and from where? I've had a nosey at GSF and ECP but wondering if there were any recomendations of what works well on these cars. I'm not looking to spend mega bucks but as they need replacing (Pads down to the metal and car off the road) I thought I might as well fit some better stuff while I'm at it. Nick
  14. You tried pulling the injector out and seeing it if actually working when you turn it over? nick

  17. Shaung60 has probably had loads of praise in this thread already but I just want to say that without his fast and reasonably priced spares my car would never work properly! nick

  20. It's a sodding great scuff in the bumper. It's even got a hole in it. Looks like someone ground it down a brick wall. It was like that when I bought it though and I'm always on the look out for a replacement bumper. Nick
