Yah, ive got the image in my head of a colour coded one on a slammed rado.. sounds like summit the germans would probably do. I think I may be rememberin' through last years Jagermeister fuelled haze...

Anyone got any pics of what a roof box, like a Thule type thing, would like like on a Corrado? Can I even put one on? Space is at bit of a premium for going to shows and the likes, so I thought of spraying one the body colour would look interesting.. Or have I got too much time on my hands?? Cheers!

Maximum of £4000 I'd say without history. Those wheels are worth a few quid.

I simply insured it at my parents address when I was with one company. When the guy quoted me at my own address, he asked if it could be registered anywhere else, like if I could park it at my parents house nudge nudge. I registered it there, saving me £200 :)

What sort of offer is that? Did you laugh heartily at them? How much was it insured for? On the plus side you could probably get it fixed for 900 couldnt you? And you wouldn't have to fork out to buy the car back off them

Having test driven a VR on the weekend, it seems they're built for motorway cruising. They love it. And they also sound lovley with a bit of right foot action!

The TT did well as we can all see. I think that VW should simply make a rival, something to compete. After all the Audi A6 and the Passat B5 are the same car but look different, they should have done the same thing when the TT came out, but made it cheaper. They missed a trick there I recon.

My bahn brenner passed on nearly everything, except a bald tyre! I mean theres no way in hell it should have passed emissions, it didn't have any side repeaters and it was on german number plates. All down to Cardiff for your MoTs! -

Dont color code it. I tried it (cost me at least £100 to try it), it didn't look as good as it does with the strips believe it or not. The Americans are importing Euro rub strips to put on their cars because theirs are all color coded!! Cheers Lippy, your £100 is on its way 8)

Hehe. The colour is more red when you see it in proper light :) The girlfriend's got a corrado 16v so I never left the corrado fold really. I was on the motorway last week and a dark grey one came up behind me and zoomed past, they still look awesome :) Thought to myself 'go on, just one more..'

Busted :D Tyres weigh in at £110 each fitted at my local tyre place. I rang VW and the colour is 'gold orange metallic', Audi call it 'colorado red'. I recon its really nice and you should go for it. personally :oops:

Yah, Chris who did my exhaust has a MK2 G60 Synchro, so he wasn't going to do a bad job
