i used to use autoglym on my mk2 golf then changed to zymol cleaner wax i dont think you can beat it first time i used it on my mk2 i had loads of comments from ppl saying how deeper the colour looked cant fault it. i know it takes longer to put on and off than autoglym but done right the results are stunning. it never stopped me winning concours events :wink:

i had a day off work on tuesday happily going round body shops in my C to get prices for paint got to the 3rd body shop turned the car off got the price for paint (way to much) went to start the car nothing. had to bump it. anyway it turned out my starter motor had just given up no warning or nothing :cry: got it reconditioned tho by a bloke i know £35 and back on the car in 2 hours from breaking :D :D

i had this problem with mine it turned out to be the expansion tank cap the O ring was not seating properly therefor stopping the pressure relief valve in the cap from working. i also had same problem on a mk2 golf the pressure relief valve was stuck causing the same problem. might be worth getting a new cap for how much they cost. hope this helps

my mate had this prob with a mk3 16v golf after replacing load of things it turned out to be the crank sensor it wasnt cheep to replace but got it sorted and run fine ever since. might be worth looking at

just discovered a fuel leak on my C g60 the pipe that goes from the fuel rail to the cold start valve had cracked/perished. so if you can smell petrol id look there first

awwwwww dont say that i just had a catch tank made with 2 inlets one for the isv the other for the breather and a outlet on the top with a breather filter. will it be ok with the isv going into the catch tank because i have fitted it all tonight. or am i best leaving it out

looks like i'm removing the boost return pipe then :D i have a catch tank ready will it be ok for the isv to go there aswell as the oil breather from the rocker cover

does the charger need the oil from the breather into the boost return pipe? just wondered after reading a reply on a topic how to fit a dump valve. i was going to take the boost return pipe off tomorrow not so sure now :?

when i get round to removing my boost return pipe where it goes into the charger. if i make a blanking plate do i need some sort of gasket between the charger and the plate?

is there any performance gains? will it DAMAGE anything? :? has anyone got any step by step instructions as to how to remove the boost return pipes. or a nice diagram, pics would be great. you probably sick of hearing about this now but i'm new to this and very confused :?

there is some double sided tape that goes on you can still get it from vw. or just use some double sided trim tape :D

the front fogs have gone front end smash, i'll look at the headlining i know its there but not sure what condition its in. going off the rest of the car it should be ok
