Great sentiment but you do have a company car and a family bus besides (both diesel) so your Corrado isn't subjected to the rigours of daily duties. I do accept that it gets used and is kept outdoors but you take great care and pride in its upkeep. Its not simply the maintenance regime its the price and availibilty of parts that hurts. Granted the costs are minimal compared to depriciation on a new car but they will need constant tlc as a daily which is hard work if you want to keep the car in great order.

I suspect with Jay's ability, resourcefullness and uncanny part finding track record it will be a breeze to run a Corrado daily. Its just that most of us haven't got that same skill set.

Jay who? Would be great to see you back in a Corrado and the Corrado community

Think i'll get down the road to Detailed, be nice to get a few Corrados together on the back carpark.

Well the stunning BBS CH have gone. They have found a new home on Roberts Satin Silver VR and they look stunning. Financial pressures meant I simply couldn't keep the wheels having looked forever to find them so the car will be rolling on the Compomotives, perhaps not as ultimately eyecatching but a really nice understated classic look.

Sad to see a great car go. I can however see the sense of having just one good diesel car at the moment for the slog of daily duties, and when the need for a toy returns i'm sure a Corrado will be on the list somewhere.

Sounds like a good plan of attack, not seen pics but the ditch the eyebrow plan sounds a winner!

Car's sitting so much nicer now Robert, wheels look great and the whole look is transformed:thumbleft: Red calipers really help them pop too!

Like those Jim, often thought be nice to see the Speedline 6 spokes or Comp 6 spokes on a Storm in 17" 0r 16" as a nice OE looking alternative to the Solitudes
-
Simple 5 spoke style is a different matter
-
Yeh there must be 3 VRs on the forum with them
-
I don't have a problem with the wheels and they can look OK on the right vehicle, a Corrado isn't that vehicle

Nice road trip.

Theres no mods to the front of min (touch of appropriate camber), and I believe you'll be ok at the back on the standard spec ET33 7.5J 301s:thumbleft: -
Get the local set with matching as new tyres crazy to miss out for £50 and will work out cheaper overall, no refurb or buying and swapping tyres.
