Whats involved in the refurb, any retrimming or just recolour of leather?
-
Not keen on the Momo looks out of keeping, the new wheel is a nice period touch and would look great in a MK2 GTI but not in the Corrado with the GTI reference. I think a period BBS or standard wheel is the way to go.

Led backlit Heater Control panels for late Corrados

Need to start a list on page 1 of interested parties before this gets too unwieldy -
Agreed, to be cost effective in keeping a Corrado on the road it sometimes pays to consider using 2nd hand or non genuine parts but in truth in many cases new VAG parts is the only way, I think the rear bushes is a case of sticking with genuine

Leave them for the time being to see how you feel about them, once they're gone.....

Certainly better than many aftermarket offerings but it looks like a car thats had its Speedlines stolen and had Golf VR6 alloys fitted because a the owner couldn't source replacement Speedlines b didn't know any better

Look at Ballys car for guidance of brakes and wide 16s ---------- Post added at 12:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:50 AM ---------- Car looks stunning and should give a good reference, I believe they are 9x16 ET15 with 205 tyres, and the Schmidts look immense http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?16685-My-16v-Corrado..-Featured-in-this-months-(Jan-2010)-PVW!

If we go on the back car park we can get all the Corrados together -
I think 195 will be fine on a 7j and may actually look visually better on the wheel but I think that I would stick with the width of the standard tyres on the VR and go 205/40

theres no info o the et or size of adaptors or the size of dishes etc. That said i'm still condifent they will not fit nicely if at all without considerable work and expense.
-
Don't say that LOL I'm confident it will be OK on its own probably between 9 and 10 kgs anything less is awesome that said its only 7j so might be quite light.
-
You can wax them or look at sealant but the best advice is avoud kerbs, clean them very regularly using car shampoo and never let brake deposits etc build up. Avoid harsh wheel cleaning products
-
Very nice, whats not to like:thumbleft:

I believe this is right that the MK4 ones need the 6mm spacer like the 312s but would you also need to change discs, would 312 not be an option if you need carriers, discs and spacers?
-
I thought the Valeo one from GSF was the same OE VW parts manufacturer at a significant saving costing c £40
-
I don't need to see them to know they won't look right, in 15" on a VR6 it doesn't get better than the OE Speedlines, keep the tyres if they are decent and move the wheels on.

Great work, love the way you set about things.
