I may also be investing in a set of 16 x 9's for my standard VR6 but will want it dropped before they are fitted on some KW's... AM I going to have issues? Is it worth swapping out the fronts for 16 x 7.5's?

Is this possible? Really want some RM's but know they are 4 stud. Are there ways of safely adapting them to fit the 5 x 100 vr? Has anyone done it?

Have now soldered 2 new fuses in the last one didn't blow and worked on all speeds... for one day and now its back as it was on 4! What would happen if I uprated the fuse - would it mess the fan speeds up? Is there another fuse in the fusebox to back up this one? Cheeeeers

New fan fitted, no more helicopter noise or burning smell :D ...however I made a hash of the new fuse it is just too fiddly for me I think I popped it :? What is the replacement part from VW?

Not soldered since school so will probably buy 2 or 3 as that will probably happen! Normal pin nose pliers ok?

Have seen a used mk2 one on the bay so will have to chuck a bid on that as its coming up to chrimbo and all that.. how long to change? If its an a hole of a job I won't wanna do it twice and will have to bite the bullet for new...

As above, got progressivly louder and is now almost stopped and only works on 4. Replaced the foliage cover seal so no more water is getting in but what parts are needed to replace the blower motor, are they the same as a mk2 Golf? Can they be regreased and cleaned or is it better to replcae for new? *Post edited blower now fitted and blowing the thermal fuses*

Got what GSF tell me are the late Golf VR6 front hoses had a little test fit/look with the wheels off and it looks like they are wrong as the have a cut out which looks as if it should locate on a notch? Also I never got any copper washers with them, do I need these too? Thanks

Got the C MOT'd at my local Nationwide centre last time and they emailed me an offer for 40% off my next MOT with option of 1 year or 3 year MOT guarantee priced I think at £59 and £119 respectivley. Has anyone heard of or used these shemes before? Are they a con as I think a 1994 Corrado may be able to make use of such schemes if they work!

Mine is very noisy like a vacuum cleaner! Benn like it since i've owned it and I changed the fuel filter too with no difference. Though the petrol coming out of the old one looked like JD and coke! Bought a spare off ebay for 99p but the guy I bought it off reckons they all sound like this? He runs the silver 400bhp VRT and knew his stuff I believe!

Been running without one (probably a drop in power with all that heat!) but by god it sounds awsome! Heard of people running them through into the wing but if Stealth are setting them up as per the standard box I am happy to have it there!

Bought a CDA with this missing, just obtained one but cant see the best route for it. Anyone have a pic of where to route it? Can the carbon canister be moved and the pipe dropped down there? Cheers
