Just to back up Darrens reputation... My G60 has a Stage 4 upgraded charger, 68mm pulley, 5.5 SNS chip and 3.5 bar fuel pressure regulator all supplied by Darren. He's the man to contact :salute:

Just got the chip in November. Got it from Darren (g-man) so it wont be the chip thats at fault. Got the blue sender from VW dealers brand new mate. Cheers for the responses How do you check the other possible problems you mentioned H100VW? DM

Sure did Joe, he only said to replace the blue one though. It does run a bit better than it did but still guzzles fuel.

Hey folks, My C seems to be using SO much fuel its unreal. Im hittin between 13-17 miles per gallon and im really not bootin it at all. Ive been told its running rich, is this expensive to fix? The fumes from the car are also overwhelming (biggrim and JoeM will testify to this), would running rich cause this? What other problems could cause this? Any ideas would be much appreciated. DM

Me too mate... Although thought it had came true last month when I heard a pop then lost copious amounts of power... Turns out it was my thermostat packing in and the excess pressure blowing my idle screw out then my engine badly overheating. Phew.... I do agree with the part about the alarm being a deterrent and not a preventative measure. However ic cost £400 to go off in those circumstances. Due to the fact it didnt, it was not fit for its intended purpose. Not to sound boring, but sale of goods act...... shall be fit for its stated and intended purpose. Was out for lunch yesterday. Parked in the carpark next to the restaurant. Returned to find my passenger window with a bloody big hole in it and a buckled door. :mad: :mad: They must have tried to get in with a screwdriver by leavering the door.... cnt do the locks, ive done the rear passat conversion. Couldnt get that so put a big block of ice through the window. :mad: :mad: Some of you may remember I purchaced a CLIFFORD CONCEPT 300, CAT 1 alarm around 4 months ago. While all of this was going on it decided not to bother activating this day until i put my hand through the hole in the window :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: The alarm is going straight back to where it came from and iv got trading standards on my side if they decline to give me a full refund!!!! Boot was full so had to unfortunately keep a few things visible as I had no where else to put them. Took them all..... about 200 quid.... BAS***DS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: :mad: How bloody lucky they are that I never caught them doing it!!!!! You would all have been reading about me somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!! DM
