iv changed to using optimax about two weeks ago and totally notice a difference, it is indeed smoother and the acceleration is also slightly quicker. DM

iv posted a couple of times about 17" alooys that im am going to buy in the next month or so. What i was wondering was if a 17" alloy will fit in the spare wheel space. If it does I was considering buying a fifth alloy. Can someone please let me know Regards DM

Hey there, Im not sure about posting this but im getting the run around from VW mechanics and would like some extra info as this is pretty important. My dad is disabled and my mums car (an L reg polo) is a bit bug*ered and this is the only way my dad is really able to get anywhere. My mum lost the key and had to try various things to get a new one, which we are still waiting for. Anyway, while we were trying things the steering wheel and part of the column came completely off, looks as though it can go back on quite easily, hopefully. The thing im unsure about is that there is a pretty big cut out of the side and iv no idea why and if its a problem ( pic below ). Does anyone have any ideas as my dad is getting more down as the days go on as he is understandably sick of the same four walls. Also the stress isnt good for his heart. Getting the polo back on the road will hopefully cheer him up and make him less stressed about not being able to go anywhere. Myself and my dad are a bit unsure about using the car with this cut in the side of the column. Iv tried to take him out as much as possible in my C but i dont work very great hours and he goes to bed pretty early. Thanks in advance DM

Just thought it would be a good laugh to see what people think are the most annoying looking cars around that they see on a daily basis, hopefully with some pics to laugh at. Its a tuffy for me between two...... A Rover 25 with the worst kit uve ever seen and stupid side panel decals AND :twisted: :mad: (Remembering that I live in Paisley [NED CITY]) Every second car is a bammed up corsa 1.2 with stupid kit, exhaust, neon washers, and so many other mods that make it look even more rediculus than it already is. Also the bam with the 45 degree angled cap and socks tucked over the trackies to go with it. Sometimes uve got to stop driving to laugh. Unfortunately iv not got any pics of them but im on the case. What are your thoughts??? DM

Hey all, I was on a site ages ago that you can put up a picture of a car and change the alloys to see what they look like before buying them. The one I was on had a corrado in it. I cant seem to find the site now and it would be rather helpful as im still not 100% sure on which alloys I want. This could make my mind up. Anyone know any sites like this??? Regards DM

im sure as far as performance goes its top class..... but i hate car companies that change really nice cars into futuristic looking things... give me a beast looking car that is as boxy and as aerodynamic as a brick anyday, petrol will be more consuming but hey, i can live with that. prime example of amazing looking car into horrible curvy aerodynamic badness.........SUBARU Impreza DM
