I know,Iknow you have all heard it all before. Will these wheels fit my 94 VR6. Its been lowered by about 40/45 mm, and I don`t really want to do any arch work just yet.Already running a set of TSW 5 spoke 17" that came with the car. Am looking at more than one set of these,as I know once one person sees them who likes them, they will wants them as well.and am looking at changing my suspension for some new coilover, but there is so many differant sorts out there, and as I us the car every day would want some thing that I can adjust as & when required. Still have a long way to go to get what I`m after in the perfect CORRADO VR6,so any suggestions are most welcome. I will take some more picture of my car this weekend once I have clean her, so you can all see what she is like, but in the mean time feel free to add anything you can think of. :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0334553552

I have a Sony XR-C450RDS head unit removed from my 94 Corrado VR6 last year. My parent brought a 94 Golf Rag Top brand new from the dealers and that had the same head unit as the one I removed, which also has a 10 disc changer in the boot. I still have the head unit if you want it. £15 plus postage, you can PM me if you want. Dude VR6

Nice VENTO, may have to start looking for a VR6 VENTO for a daily runner & stop putting miles on the RADDA. -
KUR2Y Got said parts from my local VW dealer today :D But there is a down side, in all the parts to mod your loom to OEM parts cost me £40.69. So if you want the part numbers I can pass them on, and these parts are availble from VW if you want them, but as i said they are a bit pricey :( I am looking forward to fitting them and runnung your loom, which I have got planned for next weekend work permitting, along with rear brakes, and some other jobs that need doing. Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE
Dude VR6 replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Dave 16v I don`t know if you can HELP, I can`t get in to my drivers door. It broke on Sunday, and I haven`t taken it apart yet to have a look out of cowardness. I`ve had problems with MK2 doors before and WET FEET from not putting the membrain back in properly. If your kit will help me sort out this little matter then I`m up for a kit if you still have any. Let me know, Oh and I have a 94 VR6 if that makes any differance ? DUDE VR6 -
KUR2Y As soon as I recieve the parts, which should be by the end of the week. I will let you know the part numbers and the cost of each part. DUDE VR6 Miles

Well done mate, another year on the road problem free
-
KUR2Y Yes they are the oringial OEM connectors, just to make everything water proof and easy to fit.
-
KUR2Y Thanks again, I fitted the loom at the weekend & it all works well. I had a small problem with keeping the connectors on the terminals, so a trip down to Wayside VW and half an hour on there parts system & I have ordered the proper VW connectors for the back of the light. And my mate at work is going to change the other side of the loom with some motorsport connectors to bridge the other side of the loom. And I will refit it again. So if anybody has also had any problems with the connectors coming off, and wants to fit the proper VW connectors I will list the part No. s below. 357944165 Connector to back of headlight 357972742 & 357972742a Are the rubber grommets in the back of the connector, they are differant sizes, so depending on wire size And I`m not sure what the number for the terminals is, but your local friendly VW dealer will help you on this one. When my bits turn up I will put the terminal number on this thread. If I can be of any help, please feel free to ask and I will try to answer if possible DUDE VR6

HID bulbs still have a filament, its the gad that is differant

I`m going to put an uprated loom in my car, if that works then I will be happy. But as for all the new cars on the road that drive past me, or behind me with HID`s, I can`t see for shit as we all know that they are very bright. one of my work mates has fitted an after market kit to his FIAT(I know he`s SAD for owning a FIAT) and he hasn`t had any problems with them from other driver, or the police. Untill the law is clear, BLACK/WHITE, then this argument run on and on. But I still want a HID kit that is road legal for my car.
-
Got my loom on thursday, many thanks for that. May try and fit it on sunday if I get a spare 1/2 hour or so. Next is the HID kit to go with the loom. Again Many thanks dude VR6

Hi All I found on EBAY a set of IN.PRO fog light, so after a few minutes tracked down some were that sells them. And found that they also do headlights, and thought about also buying a set of these as well. Has any body been down this road, and if so are there any prodlems fitting them, lining up the beams, or any mods that are required before I go ahead and buy said lights. Or can any body point me in the right direction with a HID set, as I have uprated my bulds to a set of OSRAM bulds and still thing that my lights are shit. I light to see day light going down the road in the dark, not 2 candles lighting my path. Any help would be greatfull :D dude VR6 Miles

Very Nice Mine is very similar to this. I have 5 spoke TSW`s and it looks great when she`s clean, but it the moment its a bitch to keep clean. I will look out for you at the Grand Prix dude VR6 -
Mark if you do make it to the Grand Prix, look out for me, Black Corrado VR6, M reg with a Force India F1 car pass on the window. I hope you enjoy the Grand Prix, I did last year as I was working for Force India F1, but as usually both car fell off the track. I have my fingers crossed for the coming year now we have Mclaren/Mercedes engine.

Hi I had a oil leak on my VR6, which turned out to be the seals around the oil cooler. This was an easy fix, I got hold of some new oil seals from VW and had them fitted in no time. Check the oil cooler/filter housing with the engine running to see if you can see an oil coming out before you go ahead and split the unit Miles

Hi Mark I work next to Silerstone, and there are quite a few camp sites for the Grand Prix, like wendy said check out the silverstone website. Most of the camp sites are lively, and there is a fun fair that goes on for most of the night, if you need any more fun

Very Nice Mate, just one question. Which BMC induction kit/filter kit did you use ? Been looking on EBAY for one and the only one that I think will fit is the R32 Kit Regards Dude VR6
