  1. I agree and I've got a 20v in a corrado..
  2. 20v turbo, Just check and your right matey.. 20 mm wrist pins on the agu .. i've forgotten all the sixes as i've uprated my piston and conrods agu is the way to go
  3. IHI turbo conversion from http://www.jabbasport.com
  4. Well the agu and aeb heads are the one to go for as Kev said as they have big ports but they have 19m wrist pins .. but the later lumps have 20 m wrist pins like the golf aum and the tt lumps but they suffer with smaller port heads. Nothing to worry about though as they both push big power 360 bhp from a IHI conversion.. that's if my memory serves me correctly.. and they both run the same crank.. Andy
  5. ? I though the Agu had 19m wrist pins and the aum and aeb had 20 mm seeming I just rebuilt my engine .. i hope its right ..
  6. My brother has a vr6 turbo and the leon Brembro set-up on his and it was fine on track hardly any fade.. that was at castle coombe.. i was impressed would be better with the carbon metalic pads though..
  7. Get a 150 bhp and IHI it .. makes sense in the long run
  8. Blue_Joe, Hello Give Badger 5 a call Bill done me a set of grooved 305mm disc and carbon metallic pads which I must say are the boll*cks.. they worked a treat at Milbrook. Phone: (0)1453 827936 Andy
  9. My 1.8ts more suited to track use cause of the suspension and brakes and bits its a track/road car really..
  10. nice .. just want i'm waiting for corrado track day .. i think some on should arrange one ..
  11. I've got over 320 bhp now.. a atb and some dunlop sp's grips like a monkey with a banana.. sort out your tyres and you'll do okay .. its not as clinical as 4wd of the line though.. but i'm happy with it .. I'm not really intrested in 0-60 sprints.. imo
  12. Yeah the pedal box looks grate.. cleans up the engine bay no end ... gives me plenty of room for that turbo 8) .. I'll say it again .. luv the car.. I'm inspired :thumb right:

    1.8T vs VR6

Why is a 1.8t cheaper surely it depends on what's used in either conversion.. I would of saved a lot of cash and time by simply slapping a turbo on to my vr .. Andy

  19. Its always nice to here it fire up for the first time even if you haven got a zorst.. top man :D
  20. yeah i like em as well .. i think the one in that picks a bit hardcore for my tastes
  21. Your right kev scoobys are rapid on the loose twisty roads after all that's what there designed for but most owners think there the unbeatable and its really annoying.. I wouldn't dare try and keep up with even a 220bhp scooby on the looser stuff or in the wet but where i live the roads a flat and smooth and with a bit of tweaking my old rado can kill scoobys around the twists.. and I'm not shooting from the hip .. I've owned sti spec r import .. just didn't find it as exciting or surprising as a tuned up rado and there far cheaper to run and tune up ..
  22. Scoobies are okay .. just dislike the drivers.. always trying to bully you out the way.. every one has a hks bean can ..and a decat pipe so they sound as loud as hell... just gives them a bad name.. the fact they cost a bit more than a old cossie doesn't mean there not Billy cars it just the rep they have ..even if you have a small wing .. IMO no offence
  23. CoxyLaad, It hanbles the torque very well I've had a few tips from marice reeves and Andy from tracksport on the suspension setup and we've managed to dail in alot of front end grip.. still get alot of wheel spin but just means you have be light footed in low gears after 60 mph its all guns .. kevhaywire, big spoilers
