I was wondering, if anybody did such modification, I mean replace g60 with mercedes kompressor. If so what problems did you met? What other modifications had to be done? P.S. it would be great to see some pictures... Thanks

There is an air filter, and the car parking is great :D

Future plans are 1,8T 20v. But everything depends on money as you know...

Originally it was g60, but after kompressor crack, it was decided to put in vr6

Maybe something with ignition?? After changing cam (removing the main belt) you should adjust teh ignition angle (i dont know how its caled in english..). And with sport cam idle is usualy higher ~ 1000- 1200 rpm

It just the same suspension parts, nothing more similar :!: (I had both of them, i know it!) :wink:

Try this link - http://www.corrado-club.ca there is a part called "do it your self" or sth and there you will find how to rebuild front lights for xenons. Thougt that guy used lights from audi a4, but maybe you'll still find someting useful

well yes, you're right - it's impossible to buy any better car magazines.... So Only possibility to get any better information is internet. I remember that few years ago i was lucky to find some magazines in pdf - interesting to read. I've already owned 2 corrados (16v), but now I leaving Lithuania for 1year (going to USA), but then I'll be back my next car will be VR6, so now i'm just gathering any useful info about C. So still thanx, your forum is realy great place to know more about this VW
