Hey Wilko, did you manage to get to the bottom of this and find out what was blowing the fuse? I’ve got a similar issue, as every time I disconnect and reconnect the battery that same 20a fuse blows.. any help to try to diagnose the problem would be much appreciated.
  2. Yeah, those are the symptoms Swifkid. And I had my BPPS repaired by Stealth too. Not too difficult to remove if you have a kebab skewer handy to unseat the circlip. As well as that, diagnostics also suggested that front OS sensor and Rear NS sensor and Ring were faulty on mine. After replacing all parts with new and clearing codes, ABS began triggering consistently upon braking at low speeds. On the off chance that I might find a quick fix, I cleaned up the old front sensor with WD40 and switched out the new one. One month later all is well, ABS light is behaving and I pray to the corrado gods every night. To summarise, considering this and that there were no signs of mechanical failure to the Rear Ring, I recommend cleaning those pesky sensors before replacing – the fronts are accessible without removing, the rears aren’t accessible without popping off the brake calliper etc. Hope that helps someone.
  3. To answer your question David, no the ABS won't need resetting after disconnecting and reconnecting a sensor. Should just be able to plug back in - check procedure will detect it's connected on start-up again. I suggest clean the contacts of the one you unplugged. If you were driving around for any length of time with them disconnected there's a chance you could have collected dirt in there. I'm doing some ABS whispering myself, similar symptoms. will update on here when I get to the bottom of it...
  4. Hello MZpog, I'm interested in the KR Head. What's your knowledge on the flow/porting work carried out, i.e. by whom, and to what extent? and has it been ran since it was skimmed? Also, any ideas on price you'd like? Thanks
  5. definitely interested depending on how cost vs volumes works out to be. refresh my memory...are the fogs on the same on all the 'rados through the years, or was there a revision with the facelift ~1992? if so would the proposed design fit on old and new? top work rob. cheers :)
  6. i'll take the sunroof seal if it's still available? cheers.

  15. just spent £60 at the dealers on the drivers side a good 2nd hand one will be worth £15 to the right person..
  16. thanks for all your efforts billcor, but after taking a look at my one again, i don't think your one is much of an improvement on straightness, and think i'd end up dissappointed (and buying twice).. it's gonna be a £63 quid job from the dealers if i want it i reckon. thanks again for your help, al
  17. much appreciated billcor :-)
  18. i'm told this part is called a door/window scraper seal one driver's door/window scraper seal still required thanks
  19. hello i'm after the black rubber trim that runs horizontally along the drivers door between the panel and the window (externally). if it's in good condition, i'd be grateful for a price for delivery. thanks, alan ---------- Post added at 1:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 1:26 PM ---------- hello i'm after the black rubber trim that runs horizontally along the drivers door between the panel and the window (externally). if it's in good condition, i'd be grateful for a price for delivery. thanks, alan
  20. hi steve, any luck with that drivers door window trim? thanks al
  21. hello, i'm after the rubber trim that goes between the window and the door panel (external). this rubber strip has an ali stiffner running through it - my one's been bent so it's lost it's shape. i'm after one that's undistorted. a price for delivery to portmouth would be much appreciated. cheers, al
  22. alright aid 10Nm according to the bently manual. i made a note what the torque was when dissmantling to be safe though. yea, get yourself some of this stuff: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_173139_langId_-1_categoryId_255217 slap it all over your new gasket and you'll never have to touch it again. good to have in your toolbox on standby anyway, especially if the inlet manifold gasket peels apart when you dissmantle that.
  23. hi troy i'm after a couple of seals: drivers door lower widow trim - if the aluminium stiffener inside is undeformed sunroof panel seal - if in good condition thanks
  24. just put the very same coilovers on my '95 valver quite frankly i've had less painful kicks to the gonads nothing wrong with the coilovers, or the mountings/interface, and the rears are a peice of **** it's just getting the nylock nut off the front top mounts that will make you want to stab someone in the end my mate was able to bring round his spring compressors and a pneumatic impact wrench, and were able to do the fronts and set it all up in a couple of hours. forget trying to get that nut off with a spanner and allen key, as you would think.. of course you only need to remove this nut if you intend to reuse the top mount and bearing apart from that, yea, it's a straight swap. well happy with mine so far. hope this helps
  25. i'm looking for the rubber trim that goes along the bottom of the window on the drivers door. this'll have an aluminium strip reinforcing it, this has to be nice n straight n not deformed, unlike mine.. a price posted to portsmouth would be much appreciated cheers
