  1. I remember at the last Stealth RR day the Highline VR6's with the later management were making almost the same power as the Corrado's ie late 180's. So doubt you will notice too much.

    new paint job??

Is there any chance of a few pics of the job?.. Yeah no probs. I will post some up but at the moment it has only had a very light polish. In two weeks I take it back after the lacquer has hardened a bit more and it is having a more serious hard polish. Will post some pics then! Matt :)
  3. Sounds like a fire hazzard to me!
  4. Nice one thanks for that Matt. Sounds really good. Dont suppose you happen to know what the dif bearing come in at do you? Cheers Matt
  5. Ditto I would have one yesterday! Get them to do some before I have to buy one of those plastic chrome ones for £60!

    new paint job??

I have just had mine done and although it isnt 100% it is mighty close! I spent under a thousand. If you need new trim bits it can get costly. Roof strips and a couple of window rubbers is £200 I'm really happy though with results just had it sprayed from glass down. Can you really justify a £3-5k job on a car thats probably worth less?
  9. Blimey looking at the JMR website I would probably come back with a new engine as well! :D
  10. Your not just testing me are you sending me about as far south as I could go  LOL If I cant find anyone nearer that is def doable as my GF is in London and we keep saying we should go and see some friends in Brighton. Cheers m8
  11. Turbo I would have thought :D
  12. Now I don't believe that with all these Corrado owners in one place that not one know's a good auto electrician! :D LOL
  13. LOL True. Mk4 Anniversary prices are stoopid :cuckoo:
  14. Lets club together and by the pressforms! :D That is bad news though if that happens, lot of history and collective skills lost there :(
  15. No way that is interesting :salute: You could argue it was 10% better but still.......
  16. Thanks guys, Based in Matlock, Derbyshire. As I said though I dont mind travelling ANYWHERE to fix it :D Had door card off (and is still off!). All wiring looks fine. Even in the door pillar. Central locking pump looks fine. Tried new door handle fine. Had my normal mechanic look at it. Just given up now and want someone to make it better LOL
  17. Ok give me half an hour to wake up :D
  18. They are I just meant this should improve things further: "A fully revised suspension setup was designed featuring lower, stiffer springs and dampers, and thicker anti-roll bars. Adding further chassis rigidity is Volkswagen's Adaptive Chassis Control (ACC), a first for the Golf. The ACC allows for the adjustment of damper ratings while on the fly with three modes: Comfort, Normal, and Sport. Steering and throttle responses are also remapped to be sharper for performance driving situations. Giving more grip to the GTI concept's four wheels is an electronic limited-slip differential (XDS) with Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP)." Matt :)
  19. Yeah reason I like this forum is the lack of confrontation. You can say its a little boring sometimes yes, but life is too short to have a slinging match sat behind a key board about something that doesnt really matter.
  20. Thanks for the confirmation. Knew I should have been an inventor :D
  21. Nobody here is having a go at Jay so stop your trolling. P.S
  22. Exactly it is powerful enough already for the type of car it is. Plus it will be faster with 208bhp and handle better thanks to the new chassis Needs to get lighter if anything! :D
  23. I like the white one as well :D :camp:
