thats the only reason mines still on ;) if I see a big difference when I take it off it might stay off, but otherwise i'll stick it back on again, i'm just curious, now that i've forgetton how the car used to behave Took mine off the other day definately felt faster bottom end must lose torque when fitted. Couldn't live without the noise though so back on it went :D

As far as i am aware they are still available in 16 and 17 inch to fit Corrado and the model no is: 2110 Demon Tweeks were going to sell me some 16inch ones for £850 with Yoko tyres and i will definately be getting some when new tyre time comes round again :)

I have one is pricey really needs air feed to work properly which is pretty hard to fit into VR6 engine bay. Might unleash a couple of bhp up the rev range but loses a bit of torque i reckon. Rolling rd at Stealth saw my car produce 195 bhp with BMC filter and Scorpion exhaust. (not the power gains they quote on the site) It is worth getting filter for the sound though :D fliipin awesome :!:

I was a member and it was shit (had one good day at the Donny meet) I got one copy of the sprinter for the whole year I was a member, didn't get any discount off parts that i couldn't have got anyway and then the website disapeared without even a letter to say what was happening. Oh and at the regional meets 99.5% of the attendees were more interested in their Sunday lunch than looking at and talking about the actual cars. One word BOLLOCKS :x all they cared about was my money :(

I pay roughly £600 a year to keep my Corrado running smoothly and looking mint, which I don't think is too bad for a 8 year old performance car. That doesn't include the £1000 on insurance mind
-
Maybe not for you but I live in the Peak District

Awesome cheers Joe forgot about bigger brakes as well which means bigger wheels as well  Its all starting to add up a bit now  Don't know if i can justify spending the cash when i could sell car and buy an RX7 or something similar. It may be worth it though just to see the look on my sisters face when she flattens the throttle on the EVO VI and I'm still there in the rear view mirror

 which charger is that for?? Would I need a gearbox/clutch upgrade as well??
-
Cheers guys, whats a "3500 g"?????? You have not heard of any reliability problems then?? Ta Matt :)

Hi in a bit of a quandry. As well as the Corrado I also regularly get to drive a Mitsi EVO VI TME and the Corrado is beginning to feel a bit on the slow side. How good/reliable are the Z-Engineering etc super chargers, as all the owners I seem to see with them are always having problems with belt slip and the like. Plus do i really want to subject my immaculate VR6 to that? Or should I just sell it and buy something faster? :?:

I do need to get a digital camera :) Will scour e-bay for one now and see if i can sort some pics out.

But then I'd have to down grade from my lovely silver leather Recaro's and pay £1000 for the privilage

That will just be me then 8)

-
Mmmmm heat soak. How much is an oil cooler Kev??
-
Cheers everyone I can now speed away without having to keep one eye on the oil temp gauge and one out for the cops
-
Thanks for that guys I was just getting a little worried at it showing 116 degrees on the motorway the other day, but it was hot and i was doing 110mph so I guess i should'nt worry too much. Did notice I have had higher oil temps after changing from Synta Silver to Mobil 1, think i may go back to former.

Spark plugs are £20-00 each
-
Hi Whats the correct (healthy) operating temperature for the oil on a VR6 :?: Thanks :)

:? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? Blmey Kevin you must be having a bad day! If you buy a good one in the first place and keep on top of all the niggly repairs as they go wrong I don't think the corrado's that bad. Got to remember that most are 10 years + old. I'd like to see how a ford focus is fairing after that length of time. Hope you love your car again soon Matt :) P.S My interior is absolutely gorgeous (just mention that for any perspective buyers out there if i choose to sell) :D

Hi Duncan Cheers for that was hoping it would be worth a bit more  It has got leather wasn't sure if it was silver or grey. Storm badges and ABT bits were fitted from new by supplying VW dealer. Could start some contraversy now (perhaps I should start new thread) but I do think Storms are highly overated as they only have different paint and wheels (and the speedline wheels are a better wheel). Am also led to believe that their are only two cars with same interior/exterior spec in country as mine. :)

May be looking to sell my VR6, but was wondering what the going rate was as I have been out of the scene for a while. 1995 on a M plate, immaculate Aqua blue paint, unmarked Speedlines, as new grey/silver electric Recaro interior with rare carbon glove box and Storm gearstick suround (well I haven't seen any others anyway). Standard apart from sensible mods i.e Koni/Eibach suspension, Scorpion Exhaust, uprated engine mount, Black Diamond discs and Greenstuff pads, HT leads and Storm badgeing. Full VWSH and massive file of bills and almost all MOT's. 57,000 miles. Anyone got any ideas :?: What have similar cars been going for on the forum :?: Thanks :)
