IMPACT driver if you have enough room to get one in along with a few good hammer blows..Or weld on the head of a good sized hex bolt!!

Ok I have tried a search under tick over, idle screw etc but cant seem to find what I'm looking for.. At the mo my 8V ticks over at 500 rpm and cut-out three times coming home whilst sat in traffic :confused4: I don't have a manual for the car so was hoping for a little advise (or pic) as to how I can adjust it to run at just under 1000 rpm on cold

Just do it mate; Ive done 3 sessions around Castle Combe in my Punto GT (I have a video of it which i could post on here!!) and it was great fun..As said above you do have a lot of run off areas on a track unlike roads so you should be fine.. One thing I would suggest is change your brake fluid for some good stuff..You can end up boiling your brake fluid..My clutch also took a bit of jip were it got a little to warm..Melted the paint on my calipers as well   A good set of grippy tyres is a must..I also stripped as much as i could from the inside, shed over 6 stone in all But it was GREAT fun..

An 18 x 8 retails at about 1,250 each plus vat....18 x 8 being the smallest we do, going up to 22 x 10, widest wheel comes in an 18''x 13''wide..Also offer 19's and 21's.. We do a cast magnesium 16'' wheel which is about 660 quid each..They use these on the Ariel Atom with 15's on the front end..
-
They are Dymag wheels mate.. Carbon fibre rim with a forged 9 spoke centre mounted in them..Weight saving is massive over stock wheels..And i expect the stock wheel would cost you just as much.......
-
Ok I know its a Jap car but these are just awesome... This is a customer of ours, as you can see its sitting on a set of our carbon wheels.. BTW do I need to re-size my pics since they dont seem to show the right side :confused4:

8) Looks soooooooooo nice in 'Red'...Love it..
-
My fault bud since I did not make it that clear..I reckon the previous guy had this leak and thought,,,,,,,,, Lets get the black sealent out on those roof strips :cuckoo:    Guess I will pick it all off tomorrow then..
-
8) I like that..Looks fine from here mate..
-
Thats good to know guys that its just to tidy up the roof..I thought it was but its always best to ask the people who know..Cheers.....As for a pic? I will do that tomorrow if its not raining......
-
Ive done a search but nothing comes up :confused4: Does anyone know if the black roof trim is just for show?? Mine looks like someone has appllied black sealent to the edges as if to prevent water coming in??? Perhaps this is why my foot well is wet since I have checked most of the other areas..
-
Thats a valid point mate..I forgot to mention that...Ive seen some real bad wheels that have been left in the stripper tooooooooooo long :gag:

Magnesium........They need to be treated mate..I've worked for Dymag (Die-cast Magnesium wheel manufacture) for over 28 years now and can tell you that if the mag has been blasted and NOT treated (chromated) before painting then your wheels will just corrode away..Bare mag loves the air and will turn to powder.. I would not advise polishing them mate..You need to get them blasted and then find someone in the aerospace industry who may be able to offer you the chemical treatment of chromate. Once that it done then by all means powder-coat them.. Hope this helps you...
-
Ok I will do..AFTER another problem which has just come  :confused4: Will search for both problems
-
Any ideas?? Would this be an age related problem..No holes in the floor plan so guess its coming in elsewhere :confused4: Any gullies I should be checking out for to see if they are blocked
