Good work, Andy. Looking really nice. Got a close up of the Speedies?
-
Looks lovely, Darren. I'm slightly regretting selling it! :-(
-
Forgot to say, also added a couple of go-faster stickers for good measure...

Got a bit bored + didn't really like the looks of the headlamp protectors, so bought some subtle tint Lamin-X. Also replaced my cracked fog and added some yellow Lamin-X to both fogs. Changed the debadged grille for a standard one with a black roundel. To finish things off, I swapped my 50mm splitter for a 90mm (thanks, Dom!). Also tried an eyebrow spoiler, but wasn't sure about it + it made the bonnet stick, so removed it.

Mk 5 GTI. Better economy than the others and just as fast as the R32 with a remap. Looks great and is practical/comfy. Don't really like the MK1 TT- think it's a hairdresser's car... but that's just my opinion. I know they're pretty reliable and well built, just not my cuppa.

Surely you can get these from VW pretty cheap? Worth a shot.

Here you go.

Wow, that's a very reasonable price! Can't do any harm to put an extra coat of something on top...

Loving the new Wagon Christ album Toomorrow Brilliant stuff!

Any pics of the Speedies? Thinking of getting mine done at some stage. Not sure whether to go standard silver or something different.

Yeh, if it's driver's side it'll be the pulley bearing as above /\/\/\ These are often quite noisey. Pretty simple to change.
-
Coming on nicely there, Abdul. Always toyed with the idea of twin tailpipes on the Rado- like it.
-
Not sure. The Superb runs the 3.2 and so does the Leon in Europe. Leon is the same floorpan.
-
Not bad thanks, mate. You OK? Sounds like it's sorted itself- always nice when that happens- doesn't happen often enough though!
-
Best check the chassis no to be sure where the cutoff was, Steve. Mine has the 17mm ones, but it's a 1996. Would think yours should be 15mm though.

Good figures there mate! Nice one. Red indicators are illegal. I used some green glass paint from Hobbycraft on the valver's all reds and it worked OK. Not great though. I pin-striped the current ones and it's much better + works well with the reverse lights- time consuming though. Reckon orange LEDs are your best option. Try the search as some people have done this.

It's not much at all. Mine used to have one (way before I bought it), and it's had the foam removed from the left section and a tiny piece cut out. Just make sure you paint where you've cut, as mine was going rusty. I'll try to get a pic later...
-
Not too bad. Have you had it VAGCOM'd? Might be worth seeing if there are any faults. Maybe a damn good service (inc fuel filter) would do the trick?

190bhp, 180lbs torque. Looks really nice by the way!
-
Wow! That looks lovely, mate.

Hey up. Nice to have another local (ish) member :-)

The first one you describe is the carbon canister. It deals with the petrol fumes, rather than venting to atmosphere. Not sure on the others- pics would help.

Welcome! Have a good look in the Classifieds on here, plenty of good 'uns for sale. It's a good time to buy at the mo...

Lovely. Give it a wash!

Nice, Jake! Green bulbs?
