Any pics of the RSX? I had a 1.6 EG6 VTI (160bhp) in black, a 1.8 MB6 VTI (170bhp- don't think you guys had these across the pond) and a 5th Gen Lude 2.2 VTI Motegi (dyno'd at 197bhp). The EG6 was prob my fav- lovely little car- pretty quick too. Think the VTI was UK equivalent to the Si. My wife also had a black LSI Civic Coupe.

Welcome! What Hondas have you owned? Had a few myself- never go wrong, but always found them a little soulless compared to a dub.

The Secret in Their Eyes- 78/100 Superior police drama with excellent acting... from Argentina! REC 2- 63/100 Spanish zombies- decent scares, but not as good as the first one. The Town- 68/100 Decent crime thriller.

Just re-register & choose the offline payment option ;) -
Have you moved the tensioner bolt towards the engine as far as it will go? My old 16v was right at the end and still not tight enough, so DG fitted a shorter belt in the end. Solved!

As above /\ check out the owners club. Really good cars- would defo consider one as a Rado replacement one day...

Absolutely awesome, mate! Your hard work has really paid off. Anything left to do/future plans?
-
Ah, right! They look nice, mate. Ebay is so hit and miss :(

Looks like you're gonna be busy! How much were the ABS rings?

Looks quite good to me!

Any pics? Sounds way too good to break imho. I'm sure you'd get a reasonable price if you just sold it. You'd prob make around £1.5K from breaking, but sorting the tyres etc would be MUCH less hassle. Have you tried giving it a machine polish? Breaking is a bit of a headache to say the least!

Yep the aux water pump is still available. Bought on last summer for around £90.

Had a look yesterday (and re-registered)- looks great! DazyCrave & FTF have indeed done a great job! :salute:

Yep, all the lists have been lost from the CCGB site :( I'm still up for this. -
Think they were _Andy_'s ;) Wish I had the cash- would've had these.
-
Yup- thought that reg rang a bell! Used to be a stunner- clicky
-
That's rubbish, Jake! Fuel costs are getting rather worrying- it'll mean a lot of people selling up their VR6s. We've still got the passenger window mech etc if you want it?
-
If you're just doing 8 miles, it's propbably running the richer cold start map most of the time, hence the poor mpg. Think it switches over to the more economical map at 80 C water.

Could well be the sensor in the expansion tank. Happened to mine when I replaced the matrix. Dunno what must've happened, but swapped the tank and all good again. Cheap and easy to replace.

Well done! Always a bonus finding a quick fix!

OP: 'Right... er I've changed my mind, lol. After driving a mk4 gti 180 and a remapped (by cc tuning) 150 with ko3s, I just dont want to get rid of my VR6, I love the power band but mainly just the sound.' Does anyone on this forum read posts properly anymore?! ;)

10:30 am Saturday any good?

You need to remove the leather (or plastic on late 8v & 16v) handle. These can be tight! You have to push up at the base/underside. It has a kind of release clip. Sometimes they come straight off, sometimes they make you swear  Then, the plastic gaitor trim just slides off the handle. I would replace the cable. Dead easy!
