  1. It's looking really good there, Josh 8) Got the K&N on the A3 yet?
  2. Nice! Glad you found a good 'un in the end! 8)
  3. Secondary waterpump. Around £90 from VW :( Easy enough to change though :)
  4. It should be clipped into the lower bumper grille on the driver's side. Just push it out, disconnect it, and clean up the connections with some contact cleaner. Hopefully that will sort it. If not, looks like you need a new sensor.
  5. Dave at DG told me to get a V5 one when mine needs replacing- worth giving DG a shout if anyone wants to make sure.
  6. Like it 8) Best thing to do with a new Rado- take it to DG for some magic ;) Make sure you come along to some meets this year- should have a few going on :)
  7. Sounds like you've found another good 'un, Darren. A 3-Corrado family now! 8)
  8. Welcome! NIce to have another local on the Forum :) Took my vRS to http://www.streetwise-automotive.co.uk/ recently, and was pretty impressed. Very good service- emailed back instantly and when I phoned, the guy remembered everything from my email! Run by an ex-Audi head technician. The workshop was mightily impressive- like a main dealer, but without the prices! Got a very good price on the work done + they gave me a very, very good quote for some Corrado stuff. Got a text from them as soon as the car was ready to collect 8)
  9. LOL, I thought you were going to finish that off with "...this is M&S ally" As for solid mounts, report back to us in 6 months when your engine mount bracket has sheared off and the engine's whacked the bonnet :cuckoo: Yep, I am slightly concerned over the long term implications. The solid one is more of a stop gap, as I couldn't afford a VT and my current VT was knackered :(
  10. Aye, opposed to £145 for a bit of ally filled with some poly, or a chunk of swiss-cheesed rubber from VW.
  11. Stu, not sure on exact price, but think it's getting on for £1K! May be more...
  12. Been keeping freshwater tropicals since I was a kid. Currently got a tank in the lounge- one leopard plec (very shy!), one big angel, a shoal of columbian tetras and a mixed shoal of cardinals/neons. Really need to give them a clean as it's been a couple of months  Once you get the plants established it's great. As said above a timer is a really good idea. If you start getting too much algae, just knock off 30 mins and see how it goes. Once you get the light perfect, the plants grow well and the algae is kept to a minimum. As mentioned, defo avoid barbs (especially tigers) with long finned fish such as guppys. I'd also avoid sharks (black red-tailed + rainbow) and certain tetras such as serpaes, phantoms, congos and bleeding hearts, as these can get a little nippy. They're well worth the bother! 8)
  13. Chris, the rears are different too- the early rear mount is much more £££ than the later one. GBox are all the same.
  14. I'd defo give DG, Venom & Awesome a shout.
  15. Had several valvers & VR6s, and there's never been much difference in the insurance at all for me. Obviously depends on a number of factors though- I've got loads of NCB (protected) and I'm not very young any more  I paid around £300 for my currend VR, my last 1.8 16v (group 15) was only around £50 less. The 2.0 8v, 2.0 16v & G60 are all group 17 (although this does seem to vary between insurers), so not much different to a VR. Anyone know what the VR6 is on the new grouping scale? Reckon it's prob mid to late 30's.
  16. Have you tried unplugging the cold start injector?
  17. Thanks to these excellent buyers: OSV Mr Sands coolrunnings Tweaked daz You should all have received your stuff by now (apart from Tweaked- can't find a box the right shape size- should find something at work on Monday though! )
  18. Looks fantastic! Get the others done ASAP. The green and gold combo works a treat 8)
  19. Ah, she's still looking good Jon. All the hard work you put in before you left has clearly paid off. I'm sure you'll have her looking better than ever before long... as long as you stop taking pics and just get on with it!
  20. Foglights are around £105 per side... that was a few months ago. Madness! Keep your eye on Ebay- managed to get a brand new one for £45 a couple of weeks ago 8)
  21. Thanks to Jon (dukest) for the PCV hose 8)
  22. Pretty sure they're priced per disc. Prob best to get ABS rings as they can get damaged + you may as well change them while you're there.
