Mine's similar. Reckon it's on it's way out. Can't do any harm to grease the sliders etc. Gonna bung a moonroof in mine sooner or later. Remember there should be an allen crank clipped to the motor, in case it won't close. You can then open/close manually. Had to do this today on mine :roll:

The 1.8 16v seems to be the most popular. Easier electrics etc.

Been obsolete for ages, mate. Black ones are in short supply too- the dealers sold out a few months ago, but some online traders still have some stock.
