  1. Two old timers! Was thinking about a mini-meet sometime soon as there's quite a few guys around here. Bit tied up with the new bab at the mo' though! Keep an eye on the events announcements.
  2. Don't bother with the Ebay chips- Stealth will do the job properly, specific to your car.
  3. Get yourself a KR cam and a RR tune at Stealth. You should see at least 150 bhp, maybe 160 bhp if you're lucky. I got a pair of KR cams (exhaust and inlet) for £25 delivered. You can actually modify the exhaust cam and get that fitted. This will give even more than just swapping the inlets. Talk to Stealth about it  I went for the inlet in the end as it's a simple straight swap.
  4. Fuel filter is a cheap, relatively easy job - think there's a how-to in the Wiki.
  5. Looks really clean 8) Will look great a bit lower.
  6. Fuel filter? Mate, had a similar experience with my latest C :( Stick with it and get it sorted- it'll be worth it. Make a list of what needs doing, prioritise the important things and get them done- no need to do them all at the same time.
  7. Prob a 9A, mate. It would've need a transplant otherwise- not a great deal of point in doing that imho.
  8. Oops, didn't read properly- thought you were talking about a 9A 2.0 16v  As the others said, no point in putting the KR cam into an ABF...
  9. Around 10-15bhp. With a RR tune, I would think around 20bhp. You'll be up over 170bhp with these and a ported/polished head.

    Return of my Corrado

Welcome back! You should be able to get a lense! Only £20 odd. Angel eyes are a defo improvement, however they don't sell lenses seperately, so if you break one, you have to buy a whole new unit. Think they're also designed for the earlier cars. They fit fine, but don't think they're totally flush on later cars. Venom and Gwent VW sell them.
  11. Don't think you can do the WUR mod on the 9A 2.0 16v. Only KR 1.8 16v. Get a KR inlet cam and RR tune. Vince quoted me around £200 for the tune a few months ago.
  12. The C's looking rather minty there, Stanley! 8)
  13. Yeh, get it done by a specialist. G-Werks are the place to go, although Jabbasport and a few others do it to. Not sure on pricing these days, but would think around £400.
  14. Had one of these on my last VR and it was OK. If you go for one, it's probably worth buying your own K&N/Green filter of the correct size. Also, the coupling was too short, although the seller sent me another FOC. The filter supplied with mine was K&N, but was too small- only suitable up to approx 170bhp. You get what you pay for- there are no fixing brackets and it's literally just a bent pipe. Sold it on Ebay UK for £130!!!! I'd go for the BMC CDA. Otherwise go for the Carbonio or Turn 2 kits, which are good quality.

    de-locking

Think you'd need to rewire the plugs back onto the handle cable and plug 'em in this time! :?
  16. Laurence, glad you got it sorted :)
  17. Hope you get it sorted, mate- bit of a puzzle! Would be a shame to sell- it's looking mighty fine! Think the smoked Inpro's look superb on grey cars.
