Very similar to how I felt but add in 4 kids at home and spending the weekend away at a show and feeling guilty at not being with them at home. Would of loved to just stored mine away for a few years and then come back when they are older.Bought the mk2 but just not the same and realised I didn't want to be spending my time lay underneath cleaning...!!! Will have another one one day if the right one comes along.

20v mk2 will blow you away.....great fun. but converted cars can be a pain..!!!

Drove my mates 11 plate carrera 4s last week and so started looking at the prices of porsche`s..... the 996 seem really cheap for the performance but dont know a great deal about them

But when you read the constant tweaking that these guys are doing with the r32 conversions then its not all simple...like i`ve said each to their own but when a good corrado r32 has just sold for 4500 the figures dont stack up for me...

After owning my 20v mk2 which I loved to drive but hated to fix i`m put right off converted cars.... I just don`t see the point in spending all that money in adding 70bhp and most of the time having issues along side it.. Each to their own but i`d rather just buy a fast car if that makes sense...??!!

Great looking corrado, but not far off porsche money for me.... something must be putting buyers off though...? it`s been up a few times..

it`d have to be a very good day at the moment, monzablue`s on here only fetched 2600 and that was a great spec`d car.. advertise it at the price you want and see how it goes,only you know what its worth to you...

As you have found out the mk1 is great to look at but they all need work and constant supervision when used as dailys, if you want a nice corrado and daily running costs i`d go for an 8v one as they give good mpg and still look cool and modern/retro -
