Same boat mate, trying to find some rs 047`s but not many around for sensible money... might just stick with estorils.

Not my liking but for the interest of the sale whats the et on these....?
-
dont forget its just paint and lacquer so just use a polish on it and it`ll come off...no need to use abrasive wheel acids.
-

lol, only kidding..... I love my rs`s....
-
Glad your getting rid of those rs`s.... they are so scene...lol

Had mine mapped by Dave of d&g fame, it was mapped to run with cams but also fine without the cams.. Ran mine without cams and on super unleaded and made a noticeable difference. Not talking turbo power...lol... but smoother and more drivable.
-
just post up on the events section on here for a meet in manchester
-
Only kidding mate...!!! load your pictures onto something like photobucket and paste onto here.... what model do you have and parts do you need..... lots of corrado`s around manchester..
-
First post fail....... corrado

Each car should be and can only be judged on it`s condition. Low mileage does not guarentee thats its mint... people buy for different reasons. The underneath of this one does not match what the owner told me... only ever dry used and dry stored.
-
I viewed this 2 years ago with the previous owner wanting 5k for it, very original and genuine car but as you can see has not been looked after as well as it could have.
-
Rs 047`s and 001`s are good sizes and spec for standard running mk2`s... also has rs003`s on my 20v but they are hard to find and cost me 1500 without tyres.
-
I`ve just bought this with lenso`s fitted, nice wheels and mint condition but i`m looking for the standard bbs ra`a or rm`s for the right money..
-
yeah the corrado one needs to be 2250 long and the mk2 needs to be 2500
-
its ok mate, just checked and the corrado one is too short for my mk2...!! gutted..!!!
-
How do you know when it's time to sell the Corrado?
C5 OEM replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
Nail on the head jim, you need to be into tinkering with older cars in order to keep the costs down and also the interest alive....the corrado club has been the most inclusive i`ve found but for me in the end I just didnt love the car and had gone too far for it to be fun. Just bought myself an oak green mk2 valver for sensible money and will tinker around with that knowing it`ll stay stock and just enjoy the experience of it all. If owning the corrado does not make sense then move on, cars come and go.. Good luck mate
