is it that difficult to look on piston heads to get an idea of prices before coming on here...? if he decides to sell people who know he got it for nothing will always bid lower... nice car but never 5k.. I'm not necessarily saying it's worth £5k, although to the 'right' buyer, you never know. I don't think the primary objective of the thread was obtaining a valuation. People will bid lower but it's not even for sale so it's clearly someone just trying to take advantage as per my original comment. IS IT WORTH ANYTHING, SOME GUY OFFERED ME £1000? its a buyers market. hope he keeps it and respects the old lady who entrusted him with the gift

there have been a few low milers recently, depends how good it is in the flesh but yes worth more than 1k

fitting my cross member back on but does the rad support go on first then the cross member...? thats how it looks and its a few weeks since taking it all apart..

Which way around do the rubber mounts fit....???

Great write up and i`m sure d&g will have some great graphs and comparsions soon enough to show/highlight the improvements the map and the cams have.

i`d full service it asap as you want to keep the engine,least you`ll have a good starting point. thats the plan then you can help clean it all at college!! no probs mate.. 8)

Paint all done, bumper staying at the bodyshop untill i`m ready to fit it..
