£93 + vat... got it from vw in hyde for £88 all in.. only 4 left in the country.

Cleaned the rest of the sound proofing glue off today, gave it a quick polish and fitted the new stuff... nice transformation..

Think they look spot on for the corrado..gonna take alot of time to get to fit right but there going in the loft for now and look at them winter time..think i`ll need 20mm just to clear the brakes but then that`ll force the wheel outwards... so maybe half inch dishes..??? will have to see as i go... or even put them on the mk2..!!!!

Go onto detailing world and have a read up on there. There are that many different makes/brands of polishes to go for.Likes been said the bodyshop havnt finished the buffing properly, in my experience they leave this job to junior joe :eek: to do as part of training..!!! If you do use a machine to polish always the mildest pad and least aggresive polish first, by the sound of it;it wont need alot.

ABS Connection.jpg[/attachment:1osu03dp] If its only since you cleaned the wheel arches, then it's most likely one of the front two ABS Sensors that is triggering a fault. The cause is usually ingress of some moisture. Behind each front wheel disc brake, there is a plug break to the sensor (see photo - green arrow). Pull off and apply WD40 both the plug and the sensor socket. Then reconnect. Classic problem, particularly the left (kerb) side one. . thanks i`ll look at that.

It is expensive but worth doing long term, i`m just trying to make the car as mint as possible and future proof it..

what codes are for what fault.. think its the pedal sensor as the abs has kicked in a couple of times..

Have had a search but can anyone explain/help me out.. Abs sensors; how many are there..? where are they...? how does the abs system work..? The abs light comes on the ignition and then off when i drive then dependant on speed/driving time it comes back on..? To be fair i`ve given under the arches a dam good clean so may have disturbed something.. the previous owner said the light occasionally came on if the car was left standing which mine has for the last few weeks.. advice / help please.. andy

After the engine clean up the fans decided to start playing up,it looks like its kicking on stage 3 straight away and was not going off when you unplugged the black thermo switch. The 5 amp fuse had blown in the controller wacked a 10 amp in ( only one to hand ) and no joy so took it apart. Looked good with the pcb looking fine and no dry joints or obvious track damage.. decided to leave the cover off and plug back into the engine and see it run. the fan didnt come on untill about 80 ish degrees which i`m thinking is stage one..?? then when off after 30 seconds..while the fan was on the centre switch in the controller engaged.. So will put it all together and take it for a run and see if it was just a bad connection..

I have an intermittent problem with my fan control box and was hoping that some kind person could help me out..!! before i rip it apart could someone let me test theres on mine to see if it cures the fault..? based in hyde sk14 and know theres a few corrado`s local,,....? help please thanks andy

both are missing,just need to get some sorted and replace rusted screws as i go..!!! will do the bay again when i paint the manifold..

Quick wipe down...

Wheels all back on and dropped the ride height by 5mm, making it 605 rear and 600 fronts.Painted under front arches. Engine bay;took airbox out and clean the whole bay with degreaser and paint brush and then blacked all the plastics, Need another few goings over but a good start. When i bought it; After an hour or two..!!! :roll: Will paint the engine cover and manifold but had enough for now... booked for mivw so no more work on it..!!

Not happy now.... :bad-words: i`ve been looking for that plate for past couple of weeks..!!!! and worse still you only live in stockport..i`m 5 minutes away in hyde..!!!

Primed/painted and laquered the sills and under the arches this morning, paint matched and mixed as standard color.. Wheels finished and waiting for bbs carbon centre caps. New wheels on the way..!!

They were parked the other way round but thats when the other side dented it the first time..!!! cant win its as though because there is more room they are less causious.. So what now do i make them pay for it..? its not gonna buff out and doubt it can be touched and blended..? to be right it`d have to be painted but then your into 2 panels..!!!
