Theres going to be some very nice corrados at tatton...cant wait.. do we have the passes yet...>?

Got 7 bbs solitudes sat in the shed awaiting powder coating, plan is to run them over winter and the rs`s in the summer months.. The centres of the rs`s are powder coated a bright oem silver and so hard wearing and easier to clean...i do spend more time cleaning than i do driving sometimes... 8) put it this way the car stays outside 24-7 and gets cleaned/waxed and detailed everytime its used.. The tax is out at the end of september so the plan is to remove the front end and top part of the engine and start to replace/refurb fans/manifold/pipework brackets ect.. also paint the front bumper and wing mirrors... then put it back on the road start of jan on the solitudes and run them till the weather picks up.. Going to upgrade the brakes as well, 288`s on front and mk4 calipers on rear. Cheers for the comments.. :salute:

Given the calipers a quick paint.. there being upgraded over winter so just wanted to tidy them up... wheels fitted a treat and look lovely..

Gonna velcro the plates on so its easier to clean behind them, The wheels are RS301`s.. fronts 17 x 7.5 and backs 8 x 17 x 8; pcd 5 x 100 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 205/40R17 80W tyres

Wheels all done ready to go;waiting on fixings for the plates and just switch stereos and job done for now..

well after selling the mk2 and now having more time on the corrado i think its staying for a while, plus with the addition of some new wheels and hopefully a new reg it should keep me going for a while..

Well 500 miles round trip to amsterdam for the MIVW show... car did great apart from the wipers packing in on the way to hull then it continued to rain once there. Luckily my front screen was that polished the rain beaded off..!!! my car was lost there as it was far to stock and original...roll on the new wheels..!!! These rx2`s will be for sale asap... Back home and quick clean down...

Well developments on the car front..!! my mk2 has sold and is going tonight so one thing off my mind and also sold the bbs rf`s as they need far too much work and money to make them fit the corrado. Had the car in the garage this week for the tracking,rear abs sensor and free the rear brake caliper. All now working spot on so happy with that. Got new gear knob and door pins. Have managed to secure a deal for some very nice and special wheels which should be on the car for september..in the mean time i`ll be slowly sorting out every fault i can and trying to make the car as perfect as i can.. I actually enjoy driving it now..!!

Rear passenger sensor replaced but took an hour just to get the bugger out..!!! anyhow its all working now and the trackings been done and camber set....!!

once they`ve been fitted they do need to be cleared. Mine is in today so will update if it cures the problem..fingers crossed but knowing my luck.............NOT.¬¬

mivw is a show in amsterdam i`m driving across in the corrado in 3 weeks...
