  3. Hey, Are there any differences between the late bumpers of different models?
  4. I shut the boot and the numberplate plinth fell off, boo. Tentatively looked behind and found no rust, yay.
  5. Can you point me to it please if you know it? Illuminated no flash With flash
  6. There's one on here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Hyundai-Getz-VDO-Radio-Stereo-CD-Player/382941073428?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D8e09f35f66224715b61885092ef6253e%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dnone%26sd%3D382941073428%26itm%3D382941073428%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26brand%3DHyundai&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A101d34c6-9516-11ea-b71b-74dbd180d2e1|parentrq%3A0e0749021720abc5a60b7c8aff9b52c0|iid%3A1
  7. They're an absolute steal on ebay for £25 Right now it's gathering dust, I haven't got the equipment to grind the head down right now, I was using a dremel but it wore the attachments out. That plus I'm scared it'll blow the head gasket on first fire-up. Basically I don't think the engine itself is ready, there's a small oil leak I think is coming from the rocker cover which also needs to be sorted first Quite possibly, I've also got a set of the BKR6E spark plugs to put on when it does eventually get strapped on. I'm slowly accumulating the parts to what I think is needed, but I still need to give John Mitchell at JMR a call back to discuss. (Also moved back to Nottingham so Stealth is much closer)
  8. that's a very nice looking water bottle
  9. I did an oil change about 300 miles ago after fitting the mocal, so haven't had to top up yet. This is the first time I've done the plugs since I owned it, so they could be super old, could be a past problem, who knows really. Part of the fault finding is using the new plugs for a bit, and seeing how fouled they get. I also lost my halfords pro extension bar to use with the spark plug socket so I have a crappy silverline one which doesn't have the grip to keep the socket attached, so it's a right pig to get the new plugs in properly 😞
  10. Long time since last update, I've moved house, and have a permanent garage that actually belongs to me now so all types of wonderful things are going on. I've sorted out the radio, turns out the SAFE wire was causing the gamma not to boot. It works, but the illumination is red, and looks wank in a car full of green. I went about trying to find something with green backlighting, that also looked period, and came across this from a Hyundai. I took a bit of car polish to the logo and voila, looks great. I'll post a pic of how it looks at night with interior illumination This weekend I did the spark plugs (old are really oil fouled, the car is running rich, so something is up), and ht leads (From mr-retro-leads on ebay). I sourced
  11. Also it looks like I can't start topics, but can reply here, but can't reply to my thread in members gallery 😞
  12. Hey @t700bes, I've got a recurring corrado forum payment in paypal but it says I'm not a subscriber, can you help please? 🙂
  13. If this is both sides I'll take: Brand new heater top dash windscreen demister trim 536 857 464 4fb in black £15.00 I'll also take Brand new wiper arm link if they are the metal bits from the motor to the blade Thanks
  14. This is an amazing for sale thread.. I can't see petrol cars ever dying out forever, there will forever be enthusiasts, probably taxed to the heavens for driving them but, they will endure.
  15. kicked it because the radio still doesn't work
  16. Yea I think it's definitely the issue, I'm just confused to how it's not getting voltage. Tried the perm live trick but that didn't work either. Will check the sticker on the radio later Thanks again
  17. Hi Paddy, Thanks for posting this, I only have 4 wires connected, gala is tucked away With lights off keys out only red/wh has 12v With ignition to acc only red/wh has 12v, s-cont has nothing. Illumination has voltage when light switch on Safe (black on my loom) has no reading at any position S-cont to ignition switch has 0.7 resistance reading Behind the ignition switch it gets hairy with some soldered and taped off blocks, unsure if something could be interfering. They seem to be splitting off the really thick red wire into ignition, but are taped well.
  18. I think if you use the referral code 480 too, it will get me a 20£ kickback come renewal time, but not sure if it's compatible with the forum code (which is they will beat _any_ quote on paper)
  19. I'm on the phone to them right now, and the lady said "we can try". They're very nice though, give them a bell!
  20. I just found this thread off le google. Thank you, will try this tonight
