Yea but that definitely hasn't happened car has been on my drive for monthsNormally a small impact would have cracked the paint. And in other news I'm so dumb I was operating the sunroof switch completely wrong and I now have a working sunroof!!!
My two remaining electrical niggles are no stereo and electric mirrors.

Found this, this morning. No idea what has caused it, could be heat. Annoyed!

Yep no problem pm me details please

I can't have anyone in the back of mine, that being said I've now put 17"s on and they don't rub unless you hit speedbumps. I'd be much happier with a bit higher at the back but not sure what I can get off the shelf which would accommodate the bigger wheels unless I go back to standard.

1 year on, how have peoples b12's settled down, did you all get new springs?

I'm on computer they're working now.
I'll leave the engine mount, thanks.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I'm after a late sunroof switch to test if it's my sunroof switch that's broken as my sunroof tilts and slides on the key but only tilts on the button.
It's only to test so if there isn't one available I'd be happy to borrow one and cover postage obviously.
Thanks

It is possible to enjoy a car with character that needs a bit more driver input than a new car. My DBP VR6 has a clutch release bearing that's failing, it gives a little chirp when pulling away, it will randomly stall every second or third journey. It has no radio as I like the peace and engine note and there's a lot to be said for driving an old car with a cable throttle.Yeah like that clunk when you stop accelerating in first gear haha

I had this too, theres a plastic clip that sits in the door that you will need, that might be missing

only the slam panel. I scrapped the car 6 months ago.I think that wouldn't fit a VR6 they have different part numbers to the 4 cyl.
535805591C (vr6) vs 535805591A (4cyl)
It's a shame because I'm after the top part that sits above the lights in pearl green.

what panel bits do you have left please?
-
Not these badboys, just open the tapThank you for the replies.Good idea putting weight in the boot, thanks. Yeah I'll try WD40 tonight to see if it will free up some more. Might try bleeding the brakes too actually to check fluid is coming through OK, I've read that it's the same regardless of whether you have ABS - I was under the impression you needed to use VAGCom to bleed them

Looks good now though!
What's the name of the second body shop? I'm not too far from you (SE6) and I've got a lovely chip out of my wing that needs doing..
-
What's the colour code please? I'm interested in driver's side depending on code
-
I'm still after one too fuzzer, if you can drop me a pm that'd be great

First MOT with me and................it failed. Only on rear brakes being 3% outside tolerance so an easy fix. No advisories which is good.Thoughts on painting the calipers red?
Not sure that will get them the 3% more tolerance needed 8)
