  1. Normally a small impact would have cracked the paint.
Yea but that definitely hasn't happened car has been on my drive for months

And in other news I'm so dumb I was operating the sunroof switch completely wrong and I now have a working sunroof!!!

My two remaining electrical niggles are no stereo and electric mirrors.

  2. I can't have anyone in the back of mine, that being said I've now put 17"s on and they don't rub unless you hit speedbumps. I'd be much happier with a bit higher at the back but not sure what I can get off the shelf which would accommodate the bigger wheels unless I go back to standard.

  3. Hi there,

I'm after a late sunroof switch to test if it's my sunroof switch that's broken as my sunroof tilts and slides on the key but only tilts on the button.

It's only to test so if there isn't one available I'd be happy to borrow one and cover postage obviously.

    Thanks

  4. It is possible to enjoy a car with character that needs a bit more driver input than a new car. My DBP VR6 has a clutch release bearing that's failing, it gives a little chirp when pulling away, it will randomly stall every second or third journey. It has no radio as I like the peace and engine note and there's a lot to be said for driving an old car with a cable throttle.

Yeah like that clunk when you stop accelerating in first gear haha

  5. First MOT with me and................it failed. Only on rear brakes being 3% outside tolerance so an easy fix. No advisories which is good.

Thoughts on painting the calipers red?

Not sure that will get them the 3% more tolerance needed 8)
