  1. I would use imgur for uploads that you are happy to throwaway, I use a mixture of Dropbox and Google photos for more personal ones at the moment. Imgur guarantees that if your photo is accessed every 3 months it wont be deleted but I've got images I haven't looked at in a year that are still there.

  3. Just seen this, Jim I took a miltek decat off mine and it has a very similar sleeve, would it help to measure the sleeve for you? (I plan to fit a miltek sports car at some point too)

  4. So tonight I thought I would see if I could slide the sunroof backwards with the allen key. It was a little tough at first but I managed to get the sunroof halfway slid back with a wind unwind rocking motion. The guides are completely caked in what I think is dried up lubricant. I'm happy it slid back at all tbh, I thought it was shot.

I'm going to try to order some lubricant in the morning to free up the mechanism.

One problem I did have though was that the trim seemed to be further back than the actual roof panel. It only happens on slide back though. Pics for 1000 words if anyone can confirm if this is the expected position upon opening?

  5. Hi,

Would someone with the Bilstein B12 kit on a VR do me a favour when they get chance? I would like to know whether any coils on the bottom of the front spring are touching, and if so how many? I'm sure mine are ok but they don't look right - the bottom four coils all touch - I know in theory that's how progressive springs should be, just want peace of mind!!

    Thanks,

    Tim.
