thanks guys lidl mate £2.99, bargain for a laugh! meant to slide on the headrest stays but i just dremmel`d it to fit without trying to remove the headrest (proper ballache)!!! Greeny it`s lashing it down mate so no pics yet ... maybe tomorrow i had a go at doing the reverse LCD but couldn`t get it right, still having a few probs with the LHS screen showing all the didgets(sp?) but not really a problem, just can`t be assed taking all my cluster apart just yet!!

nia573, cheers mate this morning i`ve just had a bit of a session on my car: degrease engine degrease wheelarches clean wheels rinse car wash car (top then bottom + door/boot shuts) dry car clay rinse car wash car (top then bottom + door/boot shuts) dry car meguiars scratch-x, buff with microfibre twice meguiars step1 paint cleaner, buff with microfibre twice meguiars step2 polish, buff with microfibre twice meguiars step3 wax, buff with microfibre twice clean glass rain-x glass autoglym/turtlewax all trim/tyres open beer! haven`t even looked inside yet as it`s starting to rain :roll: tomorrow i suppose... took me 4hrs with a couple of cig breaks

4.5yrs on and i`m keeping mine too, cant afford a better car for the money even if i did wanna sell

yeah go somewhere else as i`m sure you can cancel the policy as they wont cover you, there plenty that will cover an exhaust, suspension, wheel etc with no hassle

thats not on mate, i`ve had my screen replaced for the xs on my policy before now, i`d start off checking your policy to see if there is any mention of age related payout regarding screens. if theres not get straight back on the phone to the ins company or the insurance ombudsman
