Sold. Thanks for looking
-
Think these are sold pending payment mate but if it makes you any happier 9's are just too wide for what I'm after rightnow, hence the sale. Love the wheels just can't manage the girth :D Zing!

Ha..ha.....Sorry dude. No Rado in sight this end anymore so clearing house. Wanted these on the mk2 but the arches are standard so showing my considerable age I've buckled and staying slim (wheels only before the harsh comments :)) As for the VR, probs have something to suit your needs ;)
-
Think there is a guide on here for these and also TT arms? These are the Lupo arms and as such are a direct fit and as stated where functioning perfectly on my Rado before it went. They are second hand so might have an odd mark on them, same with the blades but these will be one of the best driving mods you will do to any Rado. Price is ono and these are stupid money from the dealers. HTH

Full Lupo gti set-up thats been removed from my own Rado, worked great with full clean sweep, no lift etc. Price is £80ono collected from Carlisle or plus postage. Contact via PM, email at [email protected] or text zero75zero2456eight32 Thanks More G60 stuck to come, airboxes drilled and standard, grills, badges, brakes, lights, hard pipe kit etc etc..... Just need to get my act together and sort it out. Full engine will also be up soon.

16" Schmidt ML's Fronts - 7.5's et15 wearing 195/40 Toyo T1R's Rears - 9's et15 wearing 215/25 Falkens (these have had arches rubbing on them for a week when I blew my back out and car had stock arches ) check pics. Had these tooked away for ages now thinking they would get onto my mk2 but I'm basically becoming an old fart and keeping the rear arches standard (this time!) I have ran these on a previous mk2 and also my Rado G and due to getting a special order offset on the fronts they fill the arches really well. Extra order for flat centres also. Really nice clean set of wheels with only very minor imperfections that would kill it on a low slung Rado, mk2/3 golf etc Px's for other NON STANDARD 15/16's upto 8.5's, offset dependant. One piece prefered but obviously RM's etc would also be cool. These are based near Carlisle and I'm looking for £660 as they stand, offers accepted. They can be collected in person or via courier. You can contact me via pm, email at [email protected] or text/mobile zero75zero2456eight32 Thanks for looking

Alright guys, I need a favour from one of you guys please. I need a measurement from the floor to the top of the lower seat squab (the bit you sit on) at the rear of the seat with the seat right down in its lowest position. Why? I've got seats in on subframes that I bought made that way and I'm trying to see how much taller they are than standard seats in there lowest position to see if a 6'4" monster can get in the car still. I'm meeting a lad 160 miles away so I'd prefer to know before I set off, thanks All help appreciated, thanks ~edit~ A measurement from the roof to the seat base at the rear with the seat right down would probs do as well, I'll get mine measured today, Ta.

Yes you would, they really are that comfy LOL............

Got a good set of Corrado front Electric U/v Recaro's for sale. There are two options for what they can come with, Corrado humped rear and early cards OR Mk2 Golf rears and 3 door cards. The Fronts are in very good condition with the only fault I can be picky about is the rear drivers bolster is soft(no tears or rips etc). Twin motor'd seats for up/down, backrest forward or recline. All motors work as they should and all switches present and correct. Second part of the sale is buyer choice. The seats are from my own Corrado and can come with all the parts from that car in good condition, barr one small cig hole in the rear. I took them out specifically to put in my own mk2 so an immaculate set of standard golf seats were found and purchased. The mk2 golf cards and rear seat look new, low mileage car and immaculate. Pics of fronts (mark on drivers base is on camera or the lighting or something, will post up another picture, no marks on the seats). Cig holed base Golf rear Will post up card pics when I retake the drivers base pic Collection from Carlisle, CA5. PM or email preferred due to poor reception, zero75zero256six8three2 Seats with Rado stuff £900 ono Seats with Golf stuff £950 ono Thanks

Other | Silver-Grey | Carlisle Price: £1750, offers Description: Mk2 Golf, 3 door Silver-Grey, 1.6 with GTI spec and 1.8 TSR power. Make: VW Model: Mk2 golf Colour: Silver-Grey Year: 1990 Engine size: 1.8 Fuel type: Petrol Transmission: Manual Mileage: 097555 MOT: until 09/07/2013 Tax: Sorn Price:1750 No. Former Keepers: 5 Location: Carlisle, CA5 Silver-Grey 1.6 driver with upgraded GTI engine and interior. I'm the 6th owner and the car is on 097553 miles. Full MOT, nearly all previous MOT's included as well as a folder full of receipts both as a 1.6 and then as a 1.8. Had this car for just over a year now and I bought it for an engine conversion. I choose this paticular car having seen it before at a few shows and knew it had been looked after body wise and was a super solid base, with a previous owner having spent a lot of time and money on keeping it that way. This included keeping the exterior nice and upgrading the engine. In went a 1.8PB engine already built with TSR pack A head and 202 cam. It has a weber fitted along with a K&N (jetted to suit) and is sat on FK coilovers. A stainless exhaust system to match this lot results in a nice and easy car to drive, that not only goes but sounds the part as well. Car is sat on MiMs at present and I would quite like to keep these but IMHO these make the car what it is so I will sell with them (car came on 4 bald steels and I'd prefer it didn't leave me the same way) or offers without them. The car has new Iron Cross mats fitted to match the front headlights. I have lots of photo's of this car to show its true present condition and I will happily email them over on request. It has very little in the way of rust or defects, pics to show this via email. Drivers wing has been replaced at sometime and is slightly darker and there is a small ding in the passengers rear quarter (I'm picky, ding is easy PDR). Slight rust above exhaust and on front arch lips due to roll. No rust on any of the usual mk2 places. Mot is fresh, next due 09/7/2013 and is Sorn but the car is insured and can be Taxed at cost for any buyer. I'm looking for offers around £1750 for what I think is a great start into mk2 ownership but come and have a look, see what you think. Based Near Carlisle, moby is 07five0two456eight3two (signal is selective) and email is [email protected] Happy to answer any Q&A's Thanks

I followed the book with the 3xrevs over 3k etc and it settles to this, just concerned its too weak. Rain stopped play so I'm going to start from scratch early doors this week. Thanks

Just curious about the co-pot and the settings. I've been looking to get the car to a better state of tune due to some garage meddling and I am confused a little on why people are quoting the co value of 2%? Until just very recently I have been going of figures quoted online but on reading a copy of the passage in Bentley manual the figure is 0.7+/- 0.4 Where have people decided this 2.0%, where has is come from? Before this I set the co-pot on the bench to 460 and with a gas tester it is at 0.7% but the thing is I was aiming for 2% before the bentley passage turned up. Interested in other peoples thoughts and experience on this side of things, only ever had one figure in mind until yesterday ha..ha..

gti gadge replied to mookie's topic in Members Gallery
They came painted from the factory and look a 100% better now than a craply polished set. Liking the way this is going, awesome as always Mook. -
17" Speedlines, wheels spacers and longer bolts
gti gadge replied to rickdonald's topic in Parts for Sale
If you do end up splitting then I would be interested in just the plain old wheels mate. Pm me if this is the case with a price, thanks -
Thanks guys, all great input and the cogs are now whirling around in my head like crazy!! I just remember posting up for MOOK to get a rado as even though he is also a mk2 guy and that he would love it, and guess what, he does. The mk2 in question is just a touch different and with some work could be the mk2 I have always wanted to own. Good colour, good mods and over the top engine. Perfect for what I want out of the car BUT is this just because I do not have it in me to turn all the parts I have in the garage at the minute into my own version of that car?? This is what is doing my head in, I wanted to build it, not tweak one already done but the back laid way to those plans! Seems a crazy thread to post up, especially for me as I'm not usually so soft in the head. Sometimes it just helps to talk to like minded guys about stuff rather than the would be financial advisors I seem to have beside me LOL................
