I have a brand new item that unfortunately sustained a bit of damage when it was posted to me. Let me know if that's of any use to you.
-
Tenner posted (if you're uk mainland)
-
I have one that's in very good order that I am no longer in need of.
-
Is the registration G727 GAB? I tried putting that into DVLA reg check and its doesn't find anything. IF that's the correct reg then the car more than likely doesn't exist any longer.
-
Tony, I have PM'd you back since your message this afternoon, I had actually PM'd you before so I'm not sure you're receiving them?
-
More parts added in main post and more G60 fuel rail and standard pressure reg. £15 Steering wheel boss momo/OMP fitment £10
-
Can you pm me with an address so I can quote with postage.
-
Yes I do Tony. Please PM me regarding the dizzy and the engine mounts you enquires about in my other thread.
-
Yes they are. PM me

The wings fit well. Small amounts of tweaking needed as all cars have slightly different inner wings where they meet around the headlamps. More progress, seam welding taking place along with starting the long process of drilling out all the spot welds on the brackets I no longer need.

Can you pm me a postal address so I can get you a postage quote. Thanks.

Bump with sold parts removed.

Thanks Ed! We will have to get you down to the workshops at some point. Johns car is now running with a final mapping session looming this coming month. His car is something else and it has been amazing to be involved in getting this evolution of the car off paper to reality. The wings fit okay with minor adjustments to be done as each Corrado is slightly different. they're late type wings [emoji1303]

Price dropped. £550. bargain.

I have a new generation milltek cat back system with a ceracote black tip that I am considering selling.
-
No I didn't but it wouldn't have been an accurate comparison to a standard Corrado as the shell was completely stripped of all under seal and then had it all re-applied but much thicker. I will be weighing the shell on bank holiday Monday :)
-
All the panels I have were made by LWS. I am leaving all the panels bar the wings clear coat. The wings I will paint body colour.

Thanks for the comments guys really appreciate it. Looking at the thing in just bare metal is amazing. The photos don't do it justice as the fluorescent lighting makes it look yellow. Haha I forgot to put my target weight in. I am hoping for 800-850 kg without myself in the car. I weigh just over 50kg. [emoji1303]

Doesn't look standard. Old deactivated tracker maybe?

Evening all. After years of deliberation with myself and preparing to build a car I finally settled recently on a build spec to get the car on the road. Some people might remember I spoke of, and even bought a whole load of parts to build the car in a rear wheel drive configuration. Unfortunately this has had to go on the back burner. The realistic view was it was going to take much too long to develop for serious competition. Let alone the budget, the gearbox and bellhousing conversion cost over 2.5k, imagine the rest! To get the car on the road I am staying with standard engine/gearbox layout. Also staying with the standard rear beam. Spec: 2.0 9A base engine. Low compression Pistons (9.5:1) Garrett GTX 2872 Turbo charger Direct to head Jenvey ITB and turbo plenum. 680cc fuel injectors Link ECU + PCM + Digital Dash Custom built box with Quaife ATB Diff CAE Shifter Hi-spec ultralight 6 pot front callipers, 4pot rears Lightweight bells and rotors Carbon fibre bonnet, front wings, roof skin and tail gate. Lexan Windows bar mandatory front bonded screen. As this is a competition car, in which I want to compete in the production modified Hillclimb category, the car has to go on a serious weight saving scheme. First step get a bare shell. I purchased this from a good friend about 5 years ago in prep for this project. Step 2: So the only way to loose as much weight as possible is to submit the car for chemical stripping. This process removes any material from the chassis that isn't steel. Seam seal, under seal, stone chip, paint, rust even aluminium is removed by the process. This process isn't the cheapest at over £1000. But look at it. I've had the carbon panels in my possession for a while now, it was John and myself who commissioned the carbon tailgates to be manufactured from LWS Designs and I went further and asked Lewis to make the front wings based on the ones from this chassis. So for a bit of fun I placed them on the shell. I absolutely love the way the bare metal looks and would love to just put a clear coat over it, but it wouldn't be durable or practical. I need the car to look not only Motorsport themed but professional and presentable. I am just in the process of speccing the pedal box, seat, harness and shifter. Phase 3: Fully TIG weld all the seams on the chassis to increase rigidity, then weld in the multipoint cage. This phase of work will probably start in a couple of weeks time from now. I want to get the car into paint by the end of the Autumn. That's all for now, updates as they roll in...
