Well I do have a big valve, ported and gas flowed head to sell that came off the engine. Basically it needs a crank as it span the big end on no 4. If you want the whole package let me know.
-
Just to add, that is Definitely Manfred Konrad's car. It was in an issue of PVW last year I think, may have even been earlier this year. Berg Cup, 1200cc 16v engine using Hyabusa cylinder head.

Strange experience with wheel alignment at Kwik Fit..
Graphite replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
The problem lies in the fact that when adjusting camber you have to have the vehicles weight on the suspension, as the camber will change dramatically loaded (with the car sat flat on the four post lift) and unloaded (suspension in full droop with the wheels hanging). Undoing the two bearing housing to strut bolts with the weight of the car on the suspension will just make the suspension shift to the maximum negative camber available. The tool shown in the link above goes between the chassis and rim of the wheel, and is then adjusted to make the spacing/camber correct, but is a complete nightmare to adjust with this tool as there is lots of pressure on the tool and is very time consuming process. I used to use the tool on our Haweka four wheel laser rig at JMR, however I have developed a better technique since. It also helps that I am constantly aligning Corrados for our customers of course :) I know companies such as Kwik Fit do get things wrong from time to time, but imagine the logistical problem they face to store specialist tools, given they work on all makes. Besides, 65% of cars on the road have suspension systems that do not allow any camber adjustment these days, particularly cheap front wheel drive cars. -
Hi Jamo I have a bare block if you are interested?

Used but in good order. Part number shown on end of camshaft in photo. £150 plus postage.

The CF wings were made using wings I supplied to LWS as a pattern. I had one of the first pairs to be made that LWS were happy with for my Hillclimb build. They have no returns for arch liners, I trial fitted them and they need playing with as the metal of the chassis that meets the front edge (where it tucks into the return of the wing around the headlamp) is rather flexible and will be different on every chassis. Other than that they were good. [emoji1303]

That sounds okay. If anything is a miss then it sounds like it's probably the overall length of the shock absorber. Perhaps try calling some local motor factors and seeing if you can compare one of your units to what they specify?
-
When you fitted the spring to the rear shock absorbers did you have to put A LOT of effort on the top plate to allow the retaining nut to be turned onto the thread?
-
Ill have these!

Thanks for saving me a job gold finger! I can confirm this was removed from an early dash.

I have a dashboard tape storage unit that is surplus to requirements. This is in very, very good order and has the genuine vw bracket. Obviously quite hard to get hold of but would be perfect for someone putting together a concourse car. £45 + Postage.

Found a car. Thanks for those that forwarded any info to me.

Yes I am interested, I have sent you a PM.

Hi all, After four years I want to be back in a Corrado G60 on a semi-regular basis again. I'm looking for a fairly standard or OEM+ car. I'm looking to spend £4000 on a solid car. Colour I'm not too fussed about and would prefer a car with at least a black cloth interior. I'm ideally looking to make a purchase in the coming 8 weeks. The car I buy will receive what ever attention the car requires, so if you're looking to move a car on to a caring owner then please get in touch. Show me what you have got :) Thanks, Troy.

Yes I do. Give me a PM

Hi dene, have been uber busy so haven't had time to update the thread. I have the bushes and the momo boss still, the bars went last week. Pm me with an address and I will get a postage quote for you.
-
Sorry I have neither of those parts.
-
Sorry I am in the middle of moving house so a bit busy. I will endeavour to get this for you tomorrow.

£30 I'm in littlehampton, West Sussex.
-
Have one from a 19191 g60 which should be good I believe.

I can get the part number for you. The collar being up the pipe is nothing unusual, they can move freely when unbolted, it basically acts as a clamp on a swaged section of the pipe where it sits into the charger return outlet.
