Ah okay :) great minds think alike lol

I don't know for sure but I cant see any reason why 265 shouldn't be appropriate. as for the noise, no idea :( as long as you've done everything up and put it back how it came off should be all good :)

The plastic guide for the rod broke on mine :( might be worth a look.

My bet would be the ignition switch, usually pants on 90s VWs. only about £8 each, but a bugger to change.

yeah im surprised, what car you driving now? ill have the 'Rado back on the road come March/April, so might see it them

Hi, yeah the back of the fuse board is a mess, but I can include loads of photos an diagrams, so shouldn't be a problem for anyone let alone someone with electrical experience. Yeah if you could send me the connector pictures it would just double check and make sure everything is the same. All heated seat elements are in principle the same so hopefully no problem there. Cheers James

Hi there, yeah this will do the whole thing. all you need is a late rado switch and some seats, just let me know what seats so I can check the compatibility. I have had it working in my car with mk3 golf seats in. Thanks James

Ah, I'm from Braintree way, so quite close, give me a shout if you ever need anything.

Hello all, I have one set of relays going spare with a brand new loom. All you will need is a switch and some heated seats and you're away. Will fit all Corrados with the late style switch, can also fit early switch, but I will need to know in advance. All plug and play brand new loom with soldered connectors made to a very high standard, all labelled and ready to install with fitting instructions and support provided. I will happily fit it if anyone is willing to travel to me (Essex or Canterbury) Price is £80 posted. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi again, I have one complete set up of the heated seat loom, with the relays here that is available should anyone want it... £75 posted with full fitting instructions.

Cheers for the heads up, I have several diagrams from different years so hopefully shouldn't be a problem, but I will need to know what year peoples cars are from, yes. Ta

Yeah, good shout. I've already made a lovely one for my C. So see no reason why I couldn't supply these to others.

Yeah that would be no problem at all if anyone was interested could easily knock up an OE g60 injector loom.

Picture of the one I made for my car now on page 1 :)

Hello all, As many of you may have seen the cruise control is in the pipeline and the brand new heated seat looms soon to be on offer. In addition to this I am looking at making complete plug and play air conditioning looms, and maybe even kits depending on how well mine goes. As well as plug in heated washer jet looms and anything that makes Corrados (or other VAGs) nice. So I thought I'd take the opportunity to offer these parts to others. Any loom can be made no matter how big or small, so if you need anything custom or original just post on here and I'll quote you a price. Brand new wires will obviously be beneficial as wires start to deteriorate and corrode in looms. I will endeavour to fit new OE loom plugs where I can, obviously some of the more obscure ones will be hard to come by, but I will clarify this with each individual order. Prices will be pretty competitive as its something I really enjoy doing. Depending on the loom size and degree of customisation some looms will take up to 6 weeks, but most should be sooner. Thanks for looking.

That's good, ill be fitting my A/C soon, so can do a whole loom with relays and fuses. I'll let you know once I've worked it all out :)

Right, Just a quick update, got the whole electrical system working now. Just need to make a couple of mounting brackets and waiting for the new stalks to arrive. Then it's on to a month or two's testing. So it's all moving in the right direction. When I manage to upload pictures to here I will attempt some sort of build thread for this. Fingers crossed. Is there any other looms or gadgets that we would like to see reproduced? Like my heated seat looms..? Will keep you all posted, thanks for looking :)

Hello again everyone, The looms are now being made, so anyone who is interested contact me for payment details and they will be shipped early next week. As for the relays, they are being sourced currently, When they are ready anyone who has brought a loom will receive the discount that should be applied for the whole kit. Thanks for your interest guys. James

Don't do it, lol. Ruins low end performance and torque. unless of course you like the rev limiter, then youll enjoy KR cams and whilst youre there a big inlet manifold helps :)

You're quite right a garage will struggle like hell to fix a car with an intermittent problem as they have to keep using it until it breaks again. we've all been there, its not fun. a late 16v is a very simple engine really, fuelling is electronically assisted mechanical injection and idle faults usually arise from broken air pipe as the system works entirely on vacuum. The ISV is an solenoid valve allowing air to bypass the throttle butterfly in order to maintain a vacuum even with the throttle shut off. This will only engage when a)the throttle is closed and b) the engine speed is below 1200RPM. So perhaps it's not the ISV at all, but more likely a dirty or faulty switch on the throttle body. Best course of action would be to set up a breakout wiring rig inbetween the ISV and its plug and get an LED to light up on the dash when its working, that way you can tell if it is getting the appropriate electrical signals. If you're still worried about it being the ISV, there's no need to keep changing bits willy nilly, across the 2 pins on the back of the ISV should give you a resistance of between 4-12 ohms. As for sensors, I wouldn't recommend changing them all as they also have test procedures so you can actually determine the fault, but there aren't any sensors I can think of off the top of my head that can cause your symptoms. Sorry if I have waffled a bit, but hope this helps.

Hello all, was a bit bored whilst supposed to be at work, just wondering what everyone's favourite modification to their Corrado is? Can be something big, something small, cheap or expensive. by now you probably get what I mean lol. It would be rude for me not to start it off. So I would have to say that my favourite mod is probably climate control...
