  8. Yeah, this gearbox going into mine is filthy - it's already off the car so it's gonna get degreased/cleaned up and then painted in the body colour while the flywheel gets lightened and clutch replaced..... :wink:
  9. Guys I want to colour code my gearbox. Now, what do I paint it with to stop it from flaking etc from engine/block heat?... Do I use the high temp paint as an under/base coat and apply the colour and then lacquer it or can I just have extra hardener mixed with the paint?..... Thanks in advance. :wink:

  14. Yeah, mine was on Saturday along with their Mk2 VR6, Mk4 TDi, and R32. Don't think they'd allow a Saxo on their stand! LOL! :wink:

    H&R ones are TUV'd but you've still got to be careful when torquing them.................I stripped 2 of them this way! :oops: :mrgreen:

    H&R hub adapters available from http://www.mswuk.com/ who import H&R stuff into UK. Could also try ebay.de Be careful when tightening the wheel bolts into the adapters tho as the bolts are steel and the adapters are alloy which can reult in stripped threads...............trust me, i know from experience, and I'm not the only one!! :oops: You can alway get the adapters helicoiled for strength tho?.... BTW, adapters will cost about £220ish iirc HTH
