i'm pretty sure the brackets, bolts and instructions would mount to more than £200 alone..the brackets are solid though and i suppose the bolts have to be heat treated or something to make them solid.

forgot to add...also need a set of carbon Autometer gauges and pod...perhaps Guy H can help as to where you can get them cheap and on tap? :mrgreen:

whats the estimated cost of something like this (PM me if you prefer).. Just pondering the mods i could do to a G60 to get it up to about 200bhp. What is a dual belt 'GT' charger? is that normal? :roll: What is the type of paint used to spray the coating on the chargers? and if its available public, does it come in black? :oops: Kinda need a parts list to keep track of so would appreciate the help... is this exactly the same routine to fit a new pump on a G60 too then? or just the 16v's. Is the sump available from GSF cheaper then...or would that be £20 at stealers. Cheers. Sanjay.

ok mate...Now i can't decide which is easier to perform..the merc one or the audi RS in the other thread by woody. What is needed ideally and is it still possible to get good gains by keeping the standard corrado bumper rather than an RS one.

do you have to make custom brackets and what about the hoses? Biggerbigben-the hoses you used on your engine, were they SNS performance ones? if so just wondering how much mate...thinkin about costs for a G60. :|

My word...that is some piece of engineering. I have never come accross such a detailed and precise spec before, YOU my man are one SERIOUS corrado owner!! 8) As for the re-trim, i think you should either pick another material or leave some stuff OE just to give it a good blend. the dash, well...in the heat you'll be in! i wouldn't even think about leathering the dash...unless its out once in a blue moon. I took a look at my neighbours Pontiac fiero the other night and noticed he went for a 'pistol grip' texture on the centre of the seats and leather for the rest, i've never seen pistol grip on an interior before...it looked very cool!!! :mrgreen: Keep up the good work mate...7yrs is a long time, hope you get 110% out of it. :D Sanjay.

Its true...i spent two days stripping the entire wiring load out of my crashed corrado...noticed that it used the passenger side door for the opening, but also drivers. I think its the pos+ wire and the the ground wire is utalised on the passenger footwell side. The Toad Ai606 with total closure is by far a great alarm...it caused no problems what so ever in the time i had it, except the total closure wouldnt work when i bought the car...an easy fix though. check Ebay...they go for around £115-120 to buy boxed and new conditon. sanj. :wink:

STORM2 Thats ok...i know how bad it looks, but at 1am on an empty wide road, i couldn't help it...i was only over by a little bit according to the officer that helped at the scene. Still not heard anything and they gave me the blood results back on the 16th june. I regret even driving an inch on that night! :cry: TS10- a traffic light jumping penalty is almost certain if you went through it on red. Expect a letter within 21days mate, but they may or may not have a clear enough pic of your plate from the back. Its 3points and a £60 fine if you pay it within 28days or its £90 i think...defo 3points though! :roll:

yes to the 'removing the side rub strips'...but i'd look into getting some mk5 polo ones or similar to stop those shopping trolley dents! they may need cutting, although i'm not sure if any newer vw rub stripes, say off the bora could fit? colour code them too. The handles...a tough one, they look good...but they may wear the paint eventually as you use them a lot. Still look really good. :| Sanj.

jay this is one very distinctive and unique corrado you have mate...i saw it at inters and also at edition38, can't get enough of it. If i was you...and i was really bored of it, i'd sell it. But if i was you..and you were thinking of buying another corrado...i'd keep it! to be honest, over the past year having mine, i've heard so many ppl regret selling their cars for silly reasons. your car could make 8k any day of any month in the year! i'd hang on to it for a bit longer and try out that 4motion flavour! right...read through both pages since my last post.. I spoke to my neighbour who works in the drugs and alcohol division of the force. He has told me i'm gonna get any of the following, depending on what i say and how good my lawyer is: In order of worst outcome to not so bad outcome: 1. carry out a 3 month custodial sentence for putting lives at risk. (results in a criminal record even if its suspended sentence) 2. 12month ban from driving and a hefty fine (+£1000) + maybe a few points 3. 12month ban and 6+ points on my liscence (max penalty is 12points)...i already have a TS10-3points. 4. Liscence revoked (re-test needed) and also a driver improvement course. 5. points on the liscence drop off less than 5yrs, depending on what i get them for... driving with undue care and attention- 3points driving whilst under the influence- 4points? speeding in a 30- 3-6points You can get BOTH points and a ban, as he has told me...so your liscence is suspended for the time of the ban and you get points on it when you get it back from DVLA. Which means you can't get insured very easily! especially with 12points on it! The above is for my drink driving while speeding in a 30zone wrap. I'm DOOOOMED :cry:

both are way to steep!! I went to a very reputable ex-royles royce sprayer....he said he'd spray my whole bonnet and wings for £400. Then went to another who specialises in flip type paint...he said he'd spray whole front end, inc. a vr6 later style bumper for £300 inc. paint etc. If i was you...either take the first qoute or ask about a bit more, there must be a private sprayer in the area i shoudl think.

This has to be the most fucking unbelievable thing i've seen so far other than the accidents guys keep having on the forum! I'd kick the living insides out of the person if i ever found em...regardless of their size!! I hope you get it sorted mate...but it really looks like coppers will do jack all about this, lets hope its been reported by others having the same problem. I'd reccomend you get some serious security! impact sensors for the alarm or ultrasonics on the outside! :roll: Sanjay.

i used to work for barclays fraud detection...they once had a case of this with a website asking customers to type in their card details to win a holiday or something...about 3people were stupid enough to fall for it and cost the company bucks!! :lol:
