The speakers are convertibles so I can have the tweeter either attached to the main speaker or separate. I also have some spare door triangles so I'll try them in both configurations and see which sounds best.

I haven't done anything to it today but it got lots of belated Christmas presents in the post: 2 x Halfords Industrial tool chests. A 3/8 torque wrench. A 7 litre oil drain jerry can. A pair of JL C3-650 speakers. I think I'll be busy tomorrow :)

I'm wondering where most people put their crossovers? Can they be fitted behind the door pods or am I likely to have to put them behind the dash? If so how do people fix them in place? Thanks.

Thanks Jamie. They arrived to day so I'll try them out and if I'm disappointed then they can be returned if I'm careful with them. However I suspect that while they may not be up to scratch for similar priced speakers when they were full price, they have been massively discounted so should be a lot better than the alternatives I was considering at the current price point.

Kickstarter is a website for group investment in a project to get it off the ground. You all pledge an amount and then get something in return if the project is successful. In this case you get extra things in the game, etc.

Well it's being remade and funded on Kickstarter. This game consumed my life when I was about 15. I literally can't wait for 2014 if it does get made. It's hit it's funding target so fingers crossed:

Ah that's a shame. Common issues for total refusal to start are the ignition switch and the imobiliser. Hope you get it sorted quickly and it doesn't put you off Corrado ownership too much. The plain fact is that they are old cars now so things like this are inevitible from time to time. That number plate does ring a bell too, and electric half leather recaros are rare in the UK (they were't an option here as far as I recall - so they were probably bought from the continent).

Welcome. You should be able to get seats for the back but due to the curved nature of the rear seats you'd probably have to try a few to make sure you get the right ones.

Welcome Dan. They are a bit addictive :) It's the 25th anniversary of the Corrado this year so it might be worth heading over to the CCGB (Corrado Club of Great Britain). Their website is not as active as this but they are arranging quite a few meets through the year.

For me I think it has to be OSV's old car if we are talking about the ultimate standard car. But if I'm building a wish list then it would be OSV's old car with forced induction and 4wd :)

I'm struggling to find reviews so any opinions appreciated. Are they worth the money over Alpine SPR 60's? Thanks. EDIT: Reason for asking is he Alpines are approx £100 which is the sort of budget I was ideally looking at but the JL's are significantly reduced to £160 which is a little above my budget.

Halfords often do combo deals on their chests. Their standard chests aren't that great. Their advanced stuff is worth considering.
