My mates got an old 944 steering wheel on his B3 Passat, went straight on I'm sure.

The stupid thing is once the car is registered by the new owner Kate Middletons name will disappear from the new log book. Thats really the most impressive thing about it. I wonder how much it was part-exchanged for??? I live just down the road from said garage and it's only a small establishment specialising in used Mercs. Even more stupid, a good few years back I remember seeing somebody trying to sell Will Youngs old Golf for a small fortune.....It sold too!!!

What do you mean by 'No significant rot'? If its completely rot free and the car park dings are minimal, how does £50 sound and I will come collect it whenever suits you? Just noticed your post, does the car your breaking have the factory radio iso plugs? Would be interested in them if so? Thanks Chris

As title suggests, looking to tidy up my Black Magic Effect Corrado vr6. Looking for any colour now but needs to be straight and also complete with glass. Preferably in good, solid condition and local (ish) to Newbury. Not looking to spend a fortune but anything considered. Thanks

It's an easy 10 minute job, one clip to undo, take the cover out, remove old seal from cover, clean up area and the new seals have a sticky backing so just stick in place and refit.

It's possible there is still damp in the carpet, also try checking the rain tray and make sure the drain holes are not blocked, this could allow the rain tray to fill slightly. This in turn could leak a small amount of rain water around where the heater motor grill is which would run under the carpet and would not necessarily be noticeable. These seals are available for a couple of quid from the stealership (someone correct me if i'm wrong as I got 2 about a year ago) so well worth replacing.
