Hi. I had a problem with my light coming on intermittently. A check on the vagcom confirmed a sticking valve. As a first solution, prior to having the abs pump refurbished, I changed the brake fluid to clear out any possible contaminants and bled the system. This solved the problem and the system operated perfectly with the light coming during the test phase and then going out.

Corrado VR6 in Blackberry for sale I am selling my 1994 VW Corrado VR6. The car is in Blackberry metallic and comes with factory fitted cloth electric Recaro seats and headlamp washers. It is totally original with the exception of the sunroof which has been replaced with a Passat B3 moonroof. The roof tilts and slides. The rear spoiler operates as it should. The car has covered 126k miles and has extensive service history with a box file of receipts and all the previous MOT certificates. Current MOT expires April 2016 - passed with no advisories. The standard speedline wheels are in excellent condition and are shod in Dunlop SP Sport tyres. The bonnet foam has recently been replaced as well as the starter motor and solenoid. As you can see in the photographs the car is in excellent overall condition and the interior is unmarked. The original paint and specification stickers are in place along with the first aid kit and warning triangle. Hi Well, the soundproofing arrived this morning from Germany. The quality looks very good and each piece is laser cut and fits perfectly into the bonnet recesses. So far so good. I hope to fit it tomorrow. I acknowledged receipt and tentatively asked the seller if he would accommodate a group purchase. I will let you know his response and my success in fitting. RobinW

I bit the bullit last night and made an offer on the German ebay site for a foam bonnet soundproofing kit for my VR6 The agreed price including postage was £63 and the seller has confirmed that the kit for the VR6 will fit my model year. From the photograph on ebay, it appears the same. I will make a further post when I receive the goods and fit them Robinw

I recently ordered a set of bonnet mats from VW Heritage for my VR6. Despite each piece having been laser cut, they were all cut to big and didn't fit into the recesses on the bonnet. VW Heritage contacted their supplier who despite acknowledging the error, we're not prepared to change their template as they apparently sell the sets direct to customers. I duly returned the kit to VW Heritage fir a refund.
