since changing my gearbox, changing from 1st to second is not very good .its worse when warm ,the box had expro 75w-90 put in it.ive been looking at fuchs titan sintopoid oil to put in.i am sure I used this years ago in it and it a made a big differance .anyone else used it.ive red reviews on redline mt90 some people say its not very good until warm and is expensive.

Ive had a replacement 02j box and clutch fitted. It doesnt select 1st gear as good as before.do i adjust it gearbox side or gear stick side.cheers

I have deff used the correct seals.they are about 3mm further into box now tho

How far do i knock the driveshaft oil seals in.ive just knocked um as far as they would go.have i done right.cheers

How did you get the flanges out

Ive got a replacement 02a box and thought when its out i should change the driveshaft seals.do i need any special tools to remove the flanges.ive also got a new clutch guide tube seal.cheers

Its not got a speedo drive or selector tower so i will have to try and block these up.

Ive got a gearbox to fit to my car but its very dirty.any tips on cleaning it will a jet wash cause problems i dont want to get water in it.cheers

Ive got standard bushes ready to fit.i had drivers side fitted years ago but left other due to brake valve thing in the way .lad in garage fitted poly bushes to his mk4 golf and said they are much easyer to fit.dont no what to do now

Yer its been driven .ive got a rattle from box when its hot.its worth changing the oil before changing gearbox

kr is different to that.ive since been told the big one under the water flange is for the 5th injector

Can anyone tell me what the sensor under the plastic water flange does also the one on back of head on a 1990 1.8 kr
