ive got some new bolster foam for my seat base.before I start the job I want to see whats best to use to re attach the cloth to the frame.hog rings (I would have to buy rings and tool) or small cable ties.cheers

I bought some grey faux suede headlining off ebay .it cost about £32 with a can of spray glue.ive not tried fitting it yet tho.how did you find getting the headlining out.

ive got material to recover headlining ,new foam for base of seat -
ive read this a number of times but cant work it out still.one thing I have noticed is the spring on the gearstick side doesent do anything its loose on mine and always has been but it doesn't cause play in gearstick

Hi I had a gearbox and clutch fitted a while ago but it's never liked going into 1st gear since.ive tried adjustment on gearbox side and it's still the same.its got a decent oil in box and a Valeo clutch.ive tried to adjust it on gear stick side but nothing seems to happen (unless I am undoing wrong nut).reverse gear is fine.its like it needs to be adjusted slightly so gear stick goes further to the left more when going for 1st gear.

I was going to put a 1.8t in mine I even bought most of the stuff needed but thought it was a shame to take a perfect engine out.it can work out expensive with cambelt kit clutch and loads of other bits

I am going to sort my headlining in the summer so want to put a new aerial on .Do the ones on ebay fit ok about £8.99 for a complete thing.cheers

just got out of car and I could feel steel on the drivers seat bottom side bit.is it a hard job to do ive done a quick search and it looks like you cant buy new foam .another job to the list

I changed my outer window seal scrapers a while ago with some from vw heritage. They have never seemed to fit properly. They don't push down enough onto the door so they don't touch the glass very well.also were I park I get bits off a tree getting into the door because of the gap.i also think it's the cause of my glass rattle as it didn't do it with the old ones.anyone else had same problem

Ive already got a loom upgrade and beter bulbs.its just ive seen corrados for sale and the say its got a loom upgrade and later passat relays.i just wondered if i am missing out on something.

Ive seen people change the headlight relays to later vw passat etc.does this make any difference. Cheers

Just notice my headlining is sagging. Ive got a none sunroof model and its sagging were the sunroof should be.is there an easy fix.cheers
