I know a lot of G's are starting to go pop recently, so pick well if you go for a G.

If you actually want best bang for your buck, selling and buying a V or a G is best!

key not not startingcar in hot weather...ignition switch?
Peebee replied to dubweiser's topic in Engine Bay
Mate ive been through this, its a right pain in the arse! I changed the ignition switch and it remained the same. Its an issue with the barrel. Mine starts every time, when you turn the key and while its at its max laterally lift the key up. Might sound stupid but works for me.! -

What wheels are on your rado mate in that pic?
-
hello all, As in title, im after the surround that goes around the radio, heater and blowers. Sorry i dont know the same of this item but hopefully you understand. Its for a late spec rado. Many thanks, Paul.

God no, it's only an engine conversion, I'd be asking double if it was 4 wheel drive!
-
He's a mate of mine Steve Gregory, Veedubnutz in the dub world, he's a good mate of mine, worked on dubs since he could drive. When he did the conversion he didn't want it to look like a Frankenstein vehicle (no shiny braided hoses etc), he wanted it to look as original as possible, you can see this in the pic. Apart from the air feed of course!

There's a couple of small dents, and the are a fair few scratches on the rear and front bumper and in a couple of small places where its obviously been over machine polished on lips like the arch, the paint has almost polished back down to the red undercoat! Ive tried to be as fair as possible with my description. My Corrado still turns heads and gets plenty of attention at shows, I just cant warrant keeping it when im trying to buy a house!

Once the weather gets better and my 4 Mo Corrado comes out of hiding, ill be looking to sell it. What im wanting to know is how much is it worth? Its a K reg Bordeaux Pearl VR6 2.8 V6 24v, Grey leather heated interior, sat on Colour coded Porsche Design 90's. The body work is probably average for its age but its rust free! The engine is out of a Bora 4 Motion pushing 220BHP. The engine has done about 75,000 miles The car its self has about 130.000 miles 288mm VR6 brakes FK Coilovers, I have 2 C spanners for height adjustment. Car will come 6 month taxed and MOT expires in March so will more than likely come with a fresh MOT. Im afraid i only know of 2 other owners of this car, the bloke who did the conversion and the person before him.
-
As stated im on the look out for a steering wheel for my Corrado, just something cheap as dont want to sell my current wheel with the car. If anyone can help please get in touch! Kind regards, Paul.
-
Pardon my rude crude language, but that is ****ing amazing!! Well done that man! :D
-
Cars higher than in pics now, still managed to crack my R32 slimline sump yday though. Probably a stupid question but this will fit a Bora 4 Motion engine right?
-
You can put me down for this but will be looking elsewhere in the mean time, if I get what I want before obviously I'll be off the list!
-
Could be ignition issues! When you try to start it turn the key, when it's as far as it goes lift it up a bit (if that makes sense) sometimes ignition barrels can play up.
-
I appreciate that, I'll have to hold out for the right buyer!
-
I few drinks does sound very good, need to get it sorted! But back on track, car has to go! Selling my Honda and Corrado and buying something a to replace both.
-
It just seems to be one problem after another and if I'm honest I just don't have the funds to keep 2 cars going. I can barely afford to fix it let alone tidy up the body work. I am 2 minds about selling and Rob, me, you and Rich are still yet to go for a few bevys so feel free to come say it to my face, just bring Richy! lol I do fancy something newer but also something easier on the pocket!

Now MOD's bare with me here. I don't want to add to Classified just yet as I am not sure on value. I'm thinking of selling my Bordeaux Pearl 4 Motion conversion Corrado. As you may know it's a 2.8 24v V6 engine and this ones outing around 215-220bhp. So straight to the pros and Cons. Pros • 4 motion engine from a Bora, just over 70.000 miles on the engine • Full Grey leather interior, heated front seats • Sits on colour coded Porsche Design 90's, 9's at the back, 8's at the front • Full stainless exhaust system • Kevlar high performance pod speakers • Lowered on FK Coilovers • Under side of car has been wax oiled in preparation for winter • 6 months MOT Cons • Couple of small dents and general ware on body • Tiny bit of rust just above front bumper (really thats the only rust on the car) • ABS sensor faulty, ABS still works! • passenger side heated element is faulty • Interior blower does not work • Tax runs out soon but may tax it again anyway • Needs new water pump! Now, I can get the water pump fixed and charge X amount for said car or leave it and charge a bit less. With all this in mind it's hard to put a price on the car. Can some one shed some light on the situation for me? Any other questions please ask. Many thanks, Paul.
-
You star, just what I needed!
-
Cheers but sadly don't know where a VR6 one is either ;)
-
Can anyone let me know where the water pump is located on the 4 Motion engine? Many thanks, Paul.
