Going to let this run until the end of the month... pay day :norty: only need one more

This is one of my new favourites :luvlove: Love everything about this corrado especially the dish on the rear Azev's :salute:

That's a pity although I thought that might happen. That particular vinyl is realistic looking but not very conformable, it's designed for flat applications, that's why it's ok on the grill. You can get more conformable CF look vinyl but it's not as realistic looking. The ony things you can do now with it is heat it again & rub it back into place & using a sharp knife cut along the recess where it was lifting. It should lay flat again but you may see a fine line of the plinth showing through where the cut line is.

Car is looking stunning now Wayne, are those the Lupo or TT wipers you have? Any pics of the Carbon Fibre?
-
Nearly there now, anyone else want to get a set of these with over £50 off? :D
-
Ok so were almost there :D The reason I'm in a hurry with this GB is because one of my OE hoses has a bubble appearing on it. This is the second hose I've had to replace so I'm just going to do the whole lot now because I'm sure the rest are well degraded now as well. The last OE hose I replaced cost me €106  from the dealer, so I don't want to be doing that every time one gives up. I'll keep this running until the end of the month.

Nice tidy job on the rear lights aide, I think the stripes are the best way to go. As you say an hour or so with a steady hand is well worth the results 8)
-
Just the two of us then?
-
Could be either your springs or shocks going on one side, probably at the front because you wouldn't really notice if the back ones were uneven.

Here's the link to the kit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... ink:top:en As you can see they're postage is reasonable at £4.95 and I'm assuming they'll honour that to post them out. This could get complicated with colours etc. so maybe you should specify your colour choice as well. Never organised a GB before so I may need some advise Cheers

Hey guys, I've been on to Amber performance (Samco Hose Suppliers) asking about discount for a group buy on their coolant hose kit. I emailed them through ebay and he's responded to me today with; Hi the retail price on the VR6 kit is £255.25 and the clip kit is £32.84 We can offer you guys 25% off if you can get 5-10 orders together, or 30% off if you can get 10 or more kits together. - amberper So by my calculations a complete 7 hose kit for a VR6 would be £191.44 if we get between 5-10 for the group buy and £178.68 if we get 10 or more. You can use your OE clips or buy a new set for £24.63 if we get between 5-10 for the group buy and £22.99 if we get 10 or more. I was suprised by the amount of discount they're offering and think this is a good deal. Amber Performance are now also offering the 25-30% discount on any Corrado hose kit, anyone interested? LATEST LIST IS; dan - Black Set - with clip set mort1414 - Looking for clip set only emu - Black Set - no clips tandino - Black Set - no clips (dependant on 30% off) C488ADO - Black Set - no clips vr6storm - British Racing Green - with clip set manps - Purple Set - with clip set g60jaime - Classic Matt Black - with clip set (G60) rsgntx - Classic Matt Black - with clip set Timbo - Black Set - with clip set (dependant on 30% off) MarkFoster - Black Set - with clip set (dependant on 30% off) winchbietch - Blue Set - with clip set joeyboswell & coullstar in the mix UPDATE: Amber Performance are offering us upto 30% OFF ANY Corrado hose kit if we get 10 definite buyers :D

Doesn't look like your cheap skating anywhere on your car, it looks like a proper project 8) I remember reading a 'how to' connect the OEM clocks in an old sprinter magazine. I could search for it if it is any use to you although I think you'll be able to get it sorted ok. Didn't get to the last GTINI meeting... my mate who was supposed to travel with me let me down & I didn't want to go to my first one on my todd. Still interested in going to one though and travelling is not a problem.

Those Pods look excellent Aide, very OEM looking. Where do you connect them to? Liking the exhaust as well, the back pipe fits well. Is it a Magnex?

dan replied to zerocool's topic in Suppliers Forum
Hi zerocool, can I have one of these please? -
I got a response back from the suppliers in America and that particular kit is for LHD cars. Here is the link for Amber Performance shop on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... ink:top:en

Cheers guys, I'll email them & check the part numbers. Will post their answer here. on the thread... must pay more attention :D
-
Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone can suggest a good uk supplier for a Samco radiator hose kit? All I can find on ebay is an American supplier at a cost of £235 delivered. Does this sound ok? Thanks
-
Nice example of a corrado you've got yourself there mate 8) make sure and start a build thread to show all the little things you'll be doing. Is that a mk1 rocco? looks nice,,, and welcome along to the forum :D
-
Yeah, thats the right name for them :) I searched ebay for 'Golf door pins' as they are the same. The ones I got are chrome plated 8)
-
One of the best little things I've done for a while on the car was fit 2x new door pins. I bought them on ebay for £10 delivered. Had to take the old ones off with a pair of vice grips & screwed in the new ones using a 15mm spanner. What a difference they make, there's a solid 'clunk' when I close a door. :D The other difference is the door closes much better
-
ebay seller responded to my question & says that it is the same bearing alright :D
-
I've heard a few Golf VR6's idle and they are a lot smoother than the C... if that makes you feel any better :)
-
Yeah, it's the same apart from the number 1 on the end. The wiki how to says part 6203 2RS1, that one on ebay is part number 6203 2RS. Just wondering/hoping they are the same, I've contacted & asked the seller anyway. Will post when he replies
-
Anyone know if this bearing is a correct replacement? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/6203-2RS-62032RS- ... ltDomain_3 Thanks

Hi Guy, interesting reading What oil would you put into your Corrado VR6 (if you have one  )? Cheers
