why take it off and refurb it before checking what its delivering. If its still outputing good volts then its fine. If its not giving good volts break the brushes on the alternator. Two phillips screws, if they are 5mm or below buy a new voltage regulator with brushes. About 10pound.

got mine from jabba sport. My cousin done mine for me but it looked really easy. Once i had the charger out i found the oil feed pipe was worn. Check yours before you take charger,

i sold the focus as i couldnt afford to insure either with no no claims. i think certain companys do a multicar policy though where you can insure both cars under same insurance

i dont think you can use your no claims on 2vehicles. I might be wrong. But when i bought my rado i still had a focus and i couldnt use it on both, im with admiral as they were cheapest for my g60 but that was before i knew about insurance through chris knott on here. Unsure if he will be cheaper as i aint had it a year yet. Mark

where is the best place to get alternator brushes with voltage regulator from for my g60, my brushes are quite worn and only charging battery at 11,9 volts.

spotted two yesterday evening. one going towards wallisdown from mountbatten in bournemouth about half 7 and other one near speed camera at worgret near wareham about 9pm.

had this prob with my g60 while ago. Mine was blue temp sensor.

can you confirm all colours for me and there location where it looks like they go. Have you plugged everything back in and all working? I changed my dash recently and havent put all back together yet so can still see most of my wiring. Finally is iv late or early?

i just kept wiggling and gently forcing but mainly helping the underside of itthrough. It does go in just take ur time and dont lose your patience.

what have you upgraded your front speakers to? What size sub do you have?

im 24 with full no claims as well. i got mine from admiral fully comp for about 400 squid. just try a search engine if you already aint. my other halfs insurance runs out on 25th and her quotes are nearly £100 more than last year with no change in details apart from an extra year of no claims so i think insurance may have gone up. good luck mark

just spoke to other half and she got receipt out. Got new bolt from vw. So after tellin you to not go there i did as i remember now no where else done it. I also changed sprocket as this was slightly damaged. Sorry for sending you on a goose chase. Mark

i think i got it from euro parts but might have been gsf. I would try them first. Let me know if gsf dont do it and i will find out where i got mine from. Dont go vw they will rip you off.

oh yea. Make sure you change the bottom pulley bolt as well. I read somewhere that they are prone to breaking and it advises to change it when you change cam belt. Hope your as lucky as i was.
