Hi would you be able to provide the vw plugs that connecet the looms ? I bought a loom of tou and it works great and iv had no problems but i dont like the way the grey spades just plug in to the loom and are left open or have to be taped up as it doesent look stardard because its a pig to tape up with the plug being so big it going straight to a small wire , id like to be able to plug it in and it be water tight like the rest Just a thought let me know cheers Matt

Would be great mate iv used the search but didnt say wich ones to use or how many i needed , iv ordered my red acetate so want to do the clocks at weekend

Just rang dealers and they have offered me two types for the clocks , a dim bulb for 2.30 or so and a bright for 5.40 or so !! Can someone confirm the best place to get the bulbs from , and what power i need and how many go in the clocks as i cant remember , ideally i want to order them today so there at home when i get back at weekend

Adding to the cause will be the fact that the handbrake has been on all night and the disks if they have had rain or spray or even of ground them will have made them rust slightly , if your pads are low that won't help as the piston has to push hurt her out to reach the worn disk ! In turn pushing the piston out more and crudding it up more for it then to return back in the the caliper and probably hardening off in there especially if your seals are buggered I'd say cleaning the the carriers with a power tool with a wire wheel on would do the trick and new disk and pads and a caliper rebuild , never heard of carriers wearing out tho

Cheers Chris I'm hoping so , I got the subframe and bones of vag hag on here already done so couldn't tell you , I can ask him if you want and it was his choice of colour ! I didn't think it was gonna be at all my thing but it's actually a good colour so I'm now eating my words lol R32 wishbones are meant to sharpen things up that little bit as there a more solid bush I think , I did look in to it when I bought them but I've forgot as if done so much lol Forgot to mention it's got a new home now in a nice garage away from the **** weather

Haha yea just need it to grow a little bit more , once the fronts done I'll be after a rear beam to blast and powder coat and rebush , hopefully the car should feel a bit more like it should off the factory line

Little final update on plans ahead Basically i took the car to get tracked before christmas and the guy was struggling as every thing was old and worn So iv been collecting parts ready for a bit of a freshen up [ATTACH]77431[/ATTACH] Blasted and powder coated subframe [ATTACH]77432[/ATTACH] Blasted and powdercoated wishbones And this big pile [ATTACH]77433[/ATTACH] So up to now iv got ball joints , track rod ends , anti roll bar links , front standard wishbone bushes and rear r32 wishbone bushes and a powerflex steering rack mount Theres a new clutch in that pile aswell and there is a lightend flywheel on its way , going from 10kg to 6kg so should be nice and revvy Treat myself after christmas aswell and went the full hog and bought fronts and rears with all the kit to fit it [ATTACH]77434[/ATTACH] Just need to save for track rods now and it can be stripped and rebuilt After all that updating i think ill do it as i go along lol
