Why not get one of the 'corrado-forum' plate surrounds?

If anyone wants to supply some more up to date info please PM or email the sprinter guys on: mailto:[email protected] (We may need to obtain copyright clearance before hosting on the site thou!)

Justmatz are usually very good. One of their cars made the cover of PVW so they must have good contacts. Plus, CCGB members get a discount!

Quite a car ben. Last time i saw it was Inters 04 and its a different car. Looks like i'll be up to E38 on the Friday just to get a sneek preview of the car! -
Cars MUST have a registered keeper i.e. a person, even a company car. A company is not a person as so cannot be the keeper (but can still be owner but thats a different issue) If the Co Sec is the registered keeper then sure they can be fined.

This is how the members gallery should be!

I just love the fact that they have taken the time to record the sound of each car. It least you'll know what you are buying. Just need to find another £59k for the ultimate (although the Cayennes sound pretty impressive) -
http://www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/indexa.html Check out the sales section, choose a model and click on the image. (Oh, and turn the volume on your speakers up first!) Don't forget to look at the Ultima on the non-porsche section. (Love the car alarms in the background. How do you get a VR to sound like that!)

John Austin in Marks Tey, Colchester. Dub Specialist. Healthy discount for Jct29 and i'm sure CCGB members

Ah yes, but if your selling a Storm you want to find a buyer who hasn't a clue about Corrado's and is willing to pay way over the odds for a little red badge. If thats the case get the VAG history!
-
Most people on here believe a FVWSH is worthless. Mainly because most VAG garages do not deal with the Corrado and therefore do not know how to look after them. I've just paid for my £80k service with VW Wolsey and it came to £275 incl plugs. Your stealer seems a bit expensive.
-
The red paint needs to be screen printed if you want that 3M look. We could do it for about £5 per badge.
-
So far as I am aware there is not a 'Storm' font. I do have a 'line' version of the logo that we used to produce the limited edition Storm battery covers, numberplate surrounds and car mats if thats of any help. You could also just buy the metal 'Corrado' keyring that quite a few of us brought from Justmatz
-
Oh, and all present and last years members should be receiving a letter about the club shortly.
-
PM me for info.
-
I very much doubt it is copyrighted. Only a limtied edition and VAG don't seem to give a t*ss. Copyright only applies for a limited period does it not (i.e. the 'Wolfsburg Edition' badge in not covered anymore, hence why every man and his dog is making them).
-
£18.50 plus vat. Per VAG Chelmsford (if they had one!)
-
Fat Wheels in kent looks the best bet. Any experience of them? Any others in the area? (I don't really want to incur huge postage costs to somewhere up North. These are only a set of Solitudes!)
-
Oh, and someone once told me that alarms can 'lose' their CAT status if the manufacturer does not keep up the annual fees to Thatcham. Not sure if this is true.
-
IIRC CAT 1 means it has an Alarm AND Immobiliser. CAT 2 is for pure imobilisers.
-
A stainless steel battery cover in high grade SS costs about £35 once its been cut and bent into shape. (And weights about 2 kg!) The VR covers are somewhat larger than that. If you can make one yourself, fair play. You'll be a better man than I. ;)
-
Oh, and you'll be lucky to make a battery cover with £20 worth of SS :)
-
Justmatz aren't that bad. They sold quite a few of us those Corrado Key Rings. I agree it wasn't very fair to do that to a customer but I'm sure the same thing has happen to others with trimsport et al.
-
Nooooo. Don't do it. I'll ruin the cars balance.

New member looking for advice on what type of Rado to buy
corradostorm replied to mk4steve's topic in General Car Chat
I'd go for a late VR (M or N) with leather and air-con and FSH. Don't bother with a Storm. You'll pay a couple of G's for a badge and nothing else.
