  5. Well it had to happen and just before I sold my G60 the plastic piece on the throttle body failed. Thought other G60 owners might like to see my fix.

Just a note re. the LED replacement then; you'll need to ensure the current draw equates to the same as the filament bulb.

As stated in my previous post there are 2 diodes and a resistor alongside the blub. I doubt these have failed. What blub did you use? Was it a 12v 0.96W? I'd not be surprised if the ECU measures the current to check the blub is working.
  8. Just checked the bulb and the current draw @ 12v is 0.08A therefore it's a 0.96W. Something like this should be suitable. https://www.rapidonline.com/barthelme-00901280-micro-bulb-t1-1-2-12v-0-96w-57-6588 Can you solder?
  9. The pics are of an early dash light. There are 4 clips that secure the PCB / Connector assembly into the housing. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to un-clip taking care not to damage the case. The PCB assembly slides out of the housings. There are 4 components on the board (2x general purpose 1N4007 diodes a 8R2 resistor and a filament bulb). The diodes / resistor can be tested in circuit with a multi-meter. My money would be on the bulb having failed. To test the bulb set your multi-meter to read ohms. 14 ohms (or there about) indicates the bulb is good. While you have it apart check the solder joints with a jewelers loupe. If any of the joints look suspect re-flow with tin / lead solder. Alternatively (if yours is an early dash) £20 and the one in the picture is yours!
  10. The spoiler module in the pic i posted is for sale. Part # 535 919 845A £20 + p&p. If it does not fix your issue return it and it will only cost you the p&p
  11. Equipment you'll need: -Empty Mr Muscle Window cleaner spray bottle (other makes will do) -Old dish washing brush -Pack of baby / surface cleaning wipes -Bin bag -Dust sheet -PPE equipment (dust mask, gloves, eye goggles) Place a dust sheet over your engine. Working on one area at a time, fill the spray bottle with White spirit and liberally apply the white spirit onto the glue. Use the brush to work the white spirit into the glue. Leave for 5 mins for the glue to go soft then use the baby wipes to clean up the sticky residue. Repeat until clean.
  12. Thanks Andy for the kind comments. I've found an under-bonnet foam kit (solid version) that i'll also include in the sale.
  13. Checking the solenoids in the valve bank on the G60 pump is fairly easy. If there is sufficient interest I can post a quick how to guide? I've not looked at the electric motor but I guess I could include that too.
  14. This kit of spares is still for sale. The springs are brand new from FK.
  15. Sorry Jon I can't find the receipt to details what was purchased.

    Trim clips

I have a pair of the 1/2 turn plastic screws but on each 1 of the plastics tabs has broken off. I have interior screws too. Drop me a PM if interested.
  18. Lots of interest but it's still here. Anyone looking for a nice G60 for the summer season?
