i'm off to view a vr6 later (it looks lovely)it's got full dealer service history and done 111000 miles should the head gasket, timing chain or any other major work been done if as it states full dealer history..... if anyone can help it would be great...... :D

i did the same about three weeks ago and your right possibly one of the best mods (for the price) they sound great it's just finding an excuse to take it out for a spin

i use optimax in my 1.8 16v since the day i bought it and it has made a noticable difference in performance on pick up and top end...

yep it starts as soon as you start and stop the engine it only resets if you leave it for more than a couple of hours. another trick you might wanna try is if you have elec windows leave them open get out and lock the door but hold the key in the lock position and it may close your windows does on mine (that is if you have'nt got a full closure already) quite useful if like me forget about the windows :? there are other tricks with the mfa like you can get a digital rev read out by pressing this and that, you can get alsorts come up but i can't remember all of them(will if your reading this you know) ........

i'm prietty sure that in pos. 1 it resets it's self if the car is off for more than a couple of hours but otherwise just carries on as normal and in pos 2 it does'nt reset unless you reset it manually.... if you have your manual it tells you in there ....

i did think of that but my battery is only 1 year old does your car have immob or alarm fitted......... more importantly did you have it fitted or was it on there when you bought it.................

i have the exact same problem as you i also have the exact same car but i can't tell you why it's just really annoying and i sympathise totally...

i had a lovely crx v-tec it only had three owners before me it was a 91 in silver full lether a/c the works and with a custom k/n filter it could suck small kids off the side streets above 5500 but i only kept it for three months and bought another standard 1.816v c with no lether no a/c etc thats gotta tell you all need to know, good fun and could stick with g60s no probs but it's a honda and just does'nt do the same as a c for me... happy driving................

hi guys and girls just joined and can say nice site, i believe i'm the 1000th member and thought i'ed better say hi, i've got 91 1.8 16v it's my second one and i love them, currently on the hunt fore a vr6 so if anyone has one send me a message, also anyone thinkin about drillin there airbox, do i highly recommend it sounds subtle but improves the smoothness right accross the rev range and only takes a half hour any hi and anyone with a vr6 give me a shout....
