have any of you guys tried to remove the center console so that you can adjust your handbrake, well i had the morning of today thought i would just tighten it up a bit :shock: what a nightmare won't bother trying to do that again the handbrake is perfect now but jees that was the easy part i suggest to anyone thinking of doing this for the first time don't, as i like to say "if it's a job worth doing it's worth paying somebody else to do it". of course i may have done it the hard way but to me there looked like only one way of doing it and it's something i wont do again :D

thats nice, i would like to see the side strips removed think it would clean up the lines a bit :D

i agree with henny my mum has a mr2 20 16v and it's on a g-plate the first time i drove it i had sideways with my mum in it :shock: very tail happy but after 93 they supposedly sorted it out, the thing is the MR2 was supposed to be 4 inches wider to cope with the high mounting of the engine but it never worked out like that hence there reputation they have if it were my money a g60 but if it is a post 93 car it might be a bit better. i was in the same situation and it just happend that mum ended up with an MR2 and i drove it and went and bought a VR6. by the way MR2 are'nt that slow either :D hope that helps oh and they are'nt cheap to service either 200 quid for main compared to my 130 quid 20000 mile service.

i reckon that if it had a standard corrado front bumper it would look quite good butfor me it's a golf !!!!! there great cars just not for me :D

it's cool i was'nt naming anyone, but vr6, that has made the most sense so far, :D and yeah lets all blame james from bournemouth for starting it :D , not really mate us southerners ave gotta stick together :D

especially with a cold air fed K&n on it now that is a lovely noise that does'nt up-set anyone through town my kind of car :D

i did forget about a tvr cerbera 4.2 that i drove to maidstone and back for a viewing it was my sisters boyfriends at the time and he had just bought a bmw m3 convertable (the new one ) with all the extras including the smg box etc, but that tvr was quick it really did do 0 - 100 in 9 secs which was prietty awsome but the guy i drove it too did'nt want it till the following week so i had to drive it back to him a week later but unfortunately my sisters boyfriend had to follow me down in his M3 so you can imagine the fun we had on the way especially as i had the quicker car but he owned them both :D he paid me for it too thats what made me laugh but he got his own back on the return journey by doing 145 which normally does'nt bother me but he had the roof down :shock: fast so so so fast i tell ya :D

well we ( the uk ) only got 750 R32's so i don't think we'll ever find one imho cos even the in the vw cup they keep the engines prietty much stock, i guess all ya need is to hope they write one off and just sell it on but would you !!!! your mates R32 sounds lovelly though :D

well with all due respect i just asked what kind of gains your gonna see if you bore it out to a 3.1 with respect to the current 3.2 in the R32 cos i was interested and probably because i am a fellow VR6 owner for the same reasons as you ( normal aspiration ) not because i'm only interested in how much power you can get for as little money which i appreciate other people maybe more interested in. anyway good luck with your project..........................

no i agree thats why i bought a vr6 i was just interested in what £ per pft you were looking at anyway you take your vr to 7000, :D nasty!!!!!!

with a 3.1 whar power increase are you looking at ( very interested vr owner who loves the idea of a 4wd c) :D

the most expensive cars i have driven is a brand new 360 (103,995) that was fun around thruxton along with a porsche 911 turbo 996 a 355 a lotus elise sport 160 a porsche 911 4s 993 and a porsche boxter s and ultimately my grandads 1950's open top racer which is the only one left in the world so we are having trouble priceing it at the mo!! they were all really good fun but my favourite was my uncles 993 911 4s very nice car same running gear as a turbo of it's time (suspension set-up brakes, wheels body work etc) but without the turbo i 'ed have one any day :D

now that would good to keep so as to remind me when my c is in the garage costing me more i can remind myself why i do it to myself :D

i remember being in my first c it was a white 1.8 16v with no extras not even a sunfroof and i was driving back from thruxton ( i was working there at the time) and i'ed just had a blast in a 360 modena one of the first in the country so you can imagine the mood i was in :D anyway i was'nt hanging around when i came up behind a trigged up 106 who for some reason clocked me coming up and thought that as soon as i pulled out he would move over as to not let me through :shock: so i pulled back and waited turned the corner and he he a straight for over a mile and empty, second, third, fourth 120 bye bye t**t and i did'nt give it another thought untill about 8 miles down the road this 106 re'appears in my mirrors and right up my a**e so i just ignore it and ignore it untill enough is enough and another swift over taking manouver and problems gone. pull up at the lights a further 2 miles on and he gets out gets to my door not realising the lights are green and leave him not only out of his car holding the traffic up but surrounded by michelin smoke why o why do they bother :D

it's aqua blue and it's not just a scratch it's also a nice 50p dent too, i don't agree vr6, too many people just lye down and and let young, old black, white fat, thin get away with situations, that one is obviously not your own fault, and it's the typically english thing to just not kick up a fuss, each to their own but if he is capable of driving he is also capable of nowing what is right and whats wrong, say he crashed into me and IT WAS'NT MY FAULT theres no way i'ed let it go and he has his own shop. but thats just my opinion i'm not out to victimise anyone but at the same time i'm not paying for other people stupidity.

i know it's just not on but he is'nt going any where so it can wait and my girlfriends dad has known him for a few years so he is gonna sort it out which i think is cool but not sure whats gonna happen yet but he better start saving!!! i just don't think the world turns the right way sometimes i really don't :?
