    Wow mate good find with those wheels! I really would like to do a trip down to the ring, probably will next year. Bet the vr was alot of fun round there!

    I am going to get coilovers, wheels,bmc induction, sort the paint, headlamp upgrade, all red rear lights, lupo wipers, cams, schrick vgi, remap. Thats about all i can think of now, probably a few other things as well. I just have to work through that list, i plan to keep the car a long time so the work will be stretched out over time and i will do it when i can afford to!

    In the end i payed £2800, which i didnt think was to bad for a storm!

    The exhaust has had it i think. So i just ordered a magnex cat back system! (well i thought it was a good excuse!)

    Saw a grey vr6 in sainsburys car park in peterborough about 1:30 today. Looked like you were toppng up with fuel. I was in a grey polo!

    Had my first chuftie today! The plasterer was round and he is a bit of a car nut. He walked outside and just said "wooh a corrado, it a storm as well! Rare car that mate" then he just looked round it for a while. I cant even drive the thing yet and it already is getting eyed up!

    A few new pics below. I brought the car home yesterday on the back of a car trailer. Shes not mint but shes mine! Incidentley if anyone is interested the trailer hire only cost £60 for the whole weekend, i think that it is a bit of a bargain really the staff where freindly and helpfull too. The name of the hire company is FS trailers in huntingdon, highly recomended! There are also a few pics of my bro's scirocco project at the bottom as well.

    He corrado is not on the road yet mate. But i have been driving around in a grey debaged polo 6n.

    One of my corrados is in d class and the other is in b class. I like to drive the d class one more though as it is more of a standard setup (fwd vr6). What does everyone else prefer?

    Its a double edged sword really on one hand i have that time to sort anything that needs doing, but on the other i dont get to drive my rado!

    Iam picking it up next saturday, but it will be on the back of a car trailer as i cant drive it until june, due to insurance!

    Yeah i got some quotes and i have bugeted for it. But i was just wondering who was getting good quotes on a vr at my age!

    Group 18 for a storm, and i agree its better than spending 14k on a fiesta zetec s as many people my age seem to be doing now!

    Hiya mate the corrado looks great! I work just up the road from you at tc harrisons i havnt seen the corrado around though!

    Picking this up on the 24th now, i cant wait! I have already bought a few bits for it, is that a bit sad?

    It had alot of stuff wishbones, bushes, mounts, suspension etc. And it sounds ok and pulled more than well enough so the history gap didnt bother me that much. And i take it by v5 issue you mean that it is owned by his mums friend, then yeah that was a bit weird but i figured he was doing him a favor by selling it as he knows his corrados!

    I have just put a deposit down on a classic green storm! It needs a few bits doing to it cosmeticaly but nothing serious and everything works after 140,000 miles! It has also had alot of money spent on it recently at tsr perfomance the vw specialist. I cant wait to get it back home and start giving it some tlc! Anyway here are some pics
