    Thats just it the fuse is ok now! I cant figure out what it does.

    Replacing the fuse did nothing, might have a dodgy fan? The weird thing is though it stage 1 and 2 wont kick in when the engine is on and it keeps getting hotter untill stage 3 comes on, but if you turn off the ignition even if stage 3 hasnt kicked in yet the fans start up on stage 1 or 2!

    Oh and has anyone near me got vagcom? Dont mean to sound cheeky but could i plug the corrado in and see whats up with these temp sensors!

    Just fitted a bmc cda intake! Sounds the nuts when you give it some but quiet when you don't! Fantastic bit of kit :D also replaced a 5amp fuse in the little black box beside the header tank as it had blown, anyone know what it does?

    Saw a black corrado with m3 style rear lights in the petrol station in westwood peterborough at about 10am today.

    Just had a good look atmy fusebox and i am missing 3 relays! Relay 1,5 and 7 are not there. Does anyone know what these do?

    A short engine is just the block usually mate. IE no head or anything else. Hope that helps.

    I have heard good things about kw v2 if you adjust the rebound setting slightly they are supposed to be quite compliant. I have never tried them myself though! I am really going to take my time deciding which coilovers to get as i am sure you are aware fen roads are terrible on hard suspension!

    Think i have found out what my overheating issue is! The fans dont come on until about 105 degrees. Am i right in thinking that this is stage 3? So it looks as though stage 1 and 2 are broken. Just need to go about fixing it now :?

    Yep i have been driving it to work since last monday. I go to lunch at 1 till 2 so feel free to pop by then if you want. I would like to see your corrado!

    Blue corrado on bbs wheels and debadged grill, outside TC Harrisons in peterborough queing at the roadworks lights. I was in a tch parts van. It was about 12:40

    Don't you just hate people born in the '80s...?! :lol: I was born in the nineties! I used to run the polo on standard stuff, i tried 99ron for a while but didnt notice much difference. I only run the c on 99 though.

    Got some new tyres and the tracking done! Now handles like it should do. I love this car! :D

    Dont really know what the overheating issue could be tbh all the fans come on and it doesnt really creep up it just sits there around 110 in all traffic.

    Got the tax today and took it out for a spin! God these make a good noise!!! Only a few niggles have cropt up firstly the tracking is way out as it pulls to the left quite badly and the clutch doesnt feel to great, i think it is also running a bit too hot around 110 all the time. Apart from that it is on the road!!! Yaayy! :D

    Just took the vr out for its first drive and occasionly when i went to do a fast change from 1st to 2nd the gear lever wont go in and it goes stiff but when i dip the clutch again all is well! Dont know whether my linkage needs adjusting or its a clutch problem?

    Aaaaarrgh! Nothing is ever straightforward with this car! Just come to bleed the brakes when i noticed that the bleed nipple on the other caliper is rounded off and rusted in! Seriously WTF is corrado owership always like this?

    Had to fit a new caliper as mine was seized solid! Just need to bleed the system and i am good to go. Cant wait until saturday now will be different coming from a 1.4 polo!

    Will get some pics up when i can get on the computer. I will have to buy a new 280mm caliper tommorow as the reason i was upgrading was due to it being seized solid! And i need the car for work on monday! I hope the problems ease off when i get it on the road, but then again they probably wont! I wouldnt mind so much apart from the fact that i havent driven the thing yet!

    The backing plate is the plate behind the disc. And i bought them of here as a kit and the guy said they would fit!

    Came of a late mk3 vr. I offer up the disc to the hub and if i were to bolt it on then it would rub against the backing plate!
